“We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house near Mammoth Cave! The property is absolutely stunning, with a lovely fire pit that we enjoyed, and a peaceful private lake that added to the serene atmosphere. The house itself was gorgeous—spacious, clean, and very well-maintained. We really appreciated the tranquil surroundings and the opportunity to unwind in such a beautiful setting. “The house and accommodations are wonderful! I’m sure when there aren’t floods and high waters, the lake is beautiful too. My daughter loved the loft room that is spacious and great for a pre-teen! We had a couple of beautiful days to enjoy some cave tours and hiking at Mammoth Cave. The unfortunate flooding caused closures in the parks our last day. . We would definitely return!!”

“My husband and I stayed a few days with our teens and dog. The property is beautiful! We all enjoyed hiking over the 75 acres. The self made map was so helpful. Our tween daughter was our navigator on our hike and managed the map easily. Our dog loved the freedom of exploring with us. We did manage to make it to Mammoth Cave and it was a fun trip. Spent the rest of our short trip grilling and playing games. Definitely recommend! ”

“It looks basic on the outside but charming and clean on the inside. Loved the peaceful, quiet surroundings. We have specific dietary needs so the large well-appointed kitchen was a plus. We enjoyed the proximity to the park/caves and the back porch fire pit every night of our spring stay. The outdoor fire ring area is nice but the client must supply their own firewood. He informed me that Wanderlust (our original reservation) had roof damage but their adjacent unit (listed as “Quiet Apartment” in Brownsville) was available. Only real issue is the room was not as quiet as I would have liked as far as outside street noise. You can hear the cars down below and music coming from the fraternity’s across the street.
