“I received a call 24 hours before our arrival (on New Years Eve),telling me the booking cancelled due to 'gas issues' in the apartment. I was told they would arrange for Expedia to search for alternative accomodation. I was ,however,scepital about this and proceeded to try and find accomodation myself,without success at such short notice. I then received another call after approx 1 hour,telling me now sorted but may be put in one of the hotel rooms rather than the apartment. . On arrival,the……

“Our stay was wonderful, easy check in and a nice location where is isn’t overcrowded. Lovely lodge and it was spotless. The hot tubs are also a nice place to be in. Will definitely be looking to stay again. ”

“Had a great long weekend at the property. Had loads of stuff there to use the kitchen to its full potential. Was lovely and warm and everyone had plenty of space in the accommodation. “We had a great stay using this as our base to explore part of the Lake District, easy access to lakes and many fells in one direction and to vast beaches a short drive away in the other direction. Loved the jacuzzi bath to relax in after a long day walking. We found the stairs to be steeper than we are acustomed to and also smaller treads, but a good hand rail for support when going to bed with tired legs. Wifi struggled a bit on occasions with demand when trying to stream something on TV and……
