The room had a really bad smell, sheets would not stay on mattresses, shower did not drain, weird knocking noises all night, the pool was dirty and people were eating in it. Outside had a very nice appearance.

The location was good for an easy off and back on the highway. The staff was friendly. The room was not very clean and when we pulled out the sofa bed there was a huge stain on the mattress, which was not the best quality to begin with. We could not find any bedding for it, so we requested bedding that never came. In the end that was fine because we decided not to use it, because it was gross. The music they pipe through the hotel was very loud and we could hear it in our room, which was annoying. The whole hotel is starting to look a little worn and could use an update. This was fine for the one night, but I wouldn’t stay longer. If we come through the area again I probably would try one of the other hotels to see if it is better.

I've stayed many times at this location and I keep coming back. The new owners have made improvements and are keeping up the quality and customer service. I remain grateful for pet friendly rooms. My one issue is that each time I entered through one of the side doors it was propped open with a rock and this could be seen as a security issue. They provide room keys for each occupant with which guests can open these side doors and the main doors are always accessible. I would suggest they have these doors alarmed and have staff close them whenever they are propped open.

We had a suite for 2 queen size beds to accommodate our family of 5. Room was pretty clean and comfortable. Pull out sofa in the “living room” of the suite along with a Roku TV, desk and single sofa chair. The beds felt a little squeaky and I thought they were gonna collapse at one point from the sound of it moving (I’m under 250 lbs for reference lol) Only issue we had was the bathroom light/fan had dropped down and was hanging by its supports when we walked in. I let the front desk know so we wouldn’t be held responsible but it wasn’t a big issue for us to have it fixed for the one night we were staying. Overall great location in front of a Cracker Barrel and close to a lot of food options. Big hotel and the complimentary breakfast was a plus! Would definitely stay here again

Our family enjoyed the large pool! There was a big area to sit and relax too. We used both the texting and called down to the front with no answer for extra sheets. We ended up grabbing some ourselves from the linen closet. Rooms were nice and spacious. We did have empty beer cans that were left in a couple cupboards.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this time I am. The check in was quick and easy, and the guy at the front desk was funny. The floors in the lobby, elevator and breakfast area were quite sticky. When we went to our room to check it out we noticed that the safety latch on the door was broken. And weirdly, the tub plug was pushed in and it was half full of water from a drip. Good thing we were there to remedy that before it filled and flooded. The temperature in the room was set at 64 degrees. Brrrr. We left to get something to eat and send a message about the door. I got a message back that someone would contact me shortly, no one ever did. We proceeded to barricade the door with a chair so that we could sleep with no worries. Bed and pillows were not very comfortable, but I did manage to get some sleep. Breakfast was fine. Typical breakfast food. Went back to our room to shower and get on the road, the body wash was empty. Now e good thing to mention is that the toilet paper was soft. Would not stay here again.

Staff was very efficient and friendly. Breakfast staff was awesome- very friendly and kept breakfast items stocked. The only critique I would give is that the property is older and could use some remodeling/upgrades. Overall room mostly clean. There were a couple of hairs in the bathroom sink and the soap dish had not been cleaned. A couple of small stains on the comforter. Otherwise clean.

Let me start with something positive, the staff was always friendly and help when my family and I interacted with them. Now the downsides, we had originally booked a 2 queen beds room, they upgraded us to a suite. This sounded great unfortunately for us, our room was very close to a bank of rooms in which a travelling teenage baseball team was booked. So between the kids running up and down the hallways, having conversations outside our door, and the coaches deciding to have a team meeting on the floor at 1030PM, it was not the best experience as they were there 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed. The room itself was ok, but a bit dirty and could have used a overall refresh for the walls and bathroom, the beds were "meh" at best and additionally it was lacking a phone. So a few lessons learned; check before booking about travelling groups, and or just go ahead and spend the extra money on a better class of hotel?

We had bugs in our room! Breakfast was available until 10:30. We went at 9:00. There was one slice of bread and one bagel. No eggs left, no orange juice, no pancake mix. Sausages were sitting in one inch of grease and looked not cooked. We ended up having a cup of coffee and left. Returned to our room, put on the lights and discovered bugs on top of the furniture. Would not recommend this place.

All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the bedding and fixtures was commensurate with expectations. Although we didn't use it, the pool facilities looked well maintained. The breakfast foods were satisfactory. There could have been a more thorough cleaning done on the walls of our room We found dirty hand prints that should have been addressed in the bathroom and around light fixtures. The carpeting in the main wing hallway was bubbling and needs to be replaced. Once things deteriorate to the point where it becomes noticeable to a guest, it should've already been done. My overall feeling is that this particular property was a little over priced for a single night stay. While it was clean and comfortable for the prices charged I expected a little more in terms of updates and maintenance.
