“My boyfriend and I enjoyed this property a lot. It was clean and had great amenities. I wasn’t used to the ease at which the bugs got in (this is not the owners fault, just part of being in the woods) and the stone steps from the driveway to the actual steps are not optimal, in my opinion. If someone needs a walker or has a wheelchair I do not think I would select this property for that reason alone. The steps upstairs to the loft also made us nervous (boyfriend is a bodybuilder, getting 250……

“We had a fabulous time here! This was a great location. Not only was it close to historic sites, downtown Harper’s Ferry, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the river (as did our dog!). While this is a back unit to the host's home, they were were hospitable, friendly, made an effort to give us privacy and allowed us full use of all the amenities. We were concerned about privacy, but had no issues and would absolutely recommend this place. It was also a great neighborhood for our dog to walk/run……

This year I decided that a week away from the routines of my day-to-day life were in order; I've had an in-progress bit of writing collecting digital dust for longer than I'd like to admit.What I needed? Fresh air, a quiet property, and a natural setting in which I could take short strolls. Spotting wildlife, especially the local birds, in their natural habit would definitely be a plus! Anything to get my writing……

“The perfect escape from the daily hustle and bustle. Quiet, relaxing and a great location. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, stretching out in the hammocks, and the nature around us. We have seen hawks, deer, even turtles running around. Everything that you need in a cabin. Close to town and all the area attractions. Host was great to work with and very communicative all the way through. Will definitely return in the future. ”
