Nice hotel, especially as a focal point for activities. Food in the rooftop restaurant is excellent and also a great spot to watch the sunset. I enjoyed the Italian sausage appetizer, which was a huge portion. But also the crispy beef tips, pork belly with white rice and the pork chop 😋
Food isnt consistent, though (2nd time I ordered the Italian sausage, it was overcooked and the garlic bread was barely toasted with any garlic) and I was only there 2 nights, but ate at the restaurant 3x.
I stayed in the suite, which was huge, but IMO not as functional as it could be. Lots of 'white space' in the room that could have easily held a full dresser.
The bathroom also was huge, but could have easily held a double sink, but the room was spacious enough.
It was a bit noisy only because of construction building a connecting building for more rooms, a pool and a gym. So the only view from my window was the concrete walls.
I feel the front desk reception could use some customer service training, but I like that you can walk along the water and reach the 'downtown' area in under 10 minutes.
I was in Belize City because I stayed in beautiful San Pedro for 7 nights and wanted to enjoy a full-day excursion.
