I enjoyed my stay at this hotel so much. It’s small, meaning it’s quiet and not crowded with people but has a great pool area and gym like a bigger hotel. The room was new and modern with lots of great features. Location was great, very close to the municipal airport and short drives to water taxis. An area with bars and restaurants was just a short walk away. What really makes this hotel stand out is the people. Ahead of time Laura and Julia were very helpful messaging about what to expect and asking if we needed airport transfers or an excursion booked. The on-site hotel staff were equally friendly and helpful. We ended up spending a lot if time with Avi, as he was our airport and excursion driver. He educated us and entertained us along the way, ensuring we got to see exactly what we wanted to on our excursion. The prices charged by the hotel for the airport transfers and excursion were extremely reasonable.

This stay way amazing! The room was big, clean, and very comfortable. The pool area was relaxing for sitting out from morning until night. The staff was very accommodating for our questions and requests (including an engagement proposal). They had suggestions for excursions, transportation, and dining. We felt safe going and coming from the time we shuttled from the airport. Thanks to Sheridan and the best driver, Avi and the rest of the staff that made sure every day was a vacation! Also thanks to our Xunantunich tour guide Eder who was an expert. Also our cave tubing guide Edwin truly showed us the beauty of the land. We look forward to visiting again.

The hotel was nice and clean, located in a quiet neighborhood, and conveniently close to restaurants. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. However, there was a disappointing issue regarding the wine in the room. Bottles were left out on the counter without clear signage or inclusion on the minibar list. A different brand was listed, which made the setup misleading. We assumed they were complimentary, but ended up being charged $60. It would be helpful if the hotel clarified this better to avoid confusion for future guests.

I can’t say enough good things about my stay, the room was huge, a lot of space and clean. Housekeeping service was on point. The pool was a very nice addition and amenity, there was a diner within walking distance that was great. My only complaint was the water was a little cool from my shower, but once I notified staff, they fixed it immediately.

The Palms staff were very responsive even before we made the trip down. Once we arrived they had Avi waiting to take us to the hotel and he was gracious enough to show us some food spots for the night. The host was extremely helpful a we forgot some items and she was able to get them for us. The rooms were super clean, and the AC wa already on for us when we walked in. We came for my birthday and they had a really cute birthday layout with a handwritten card. Throughout our stay whatever we needed they were responsive and provided us with all the amenities and hospitality that a guest could hope for. The last night we all decided to get massages and Patty came and stayed very late into the night as we arrived on the last ferry from the islands. It was just what we needed to end the weekend before heading back home! I would highly recommend The Palms if you are staying in Belize City, as we will definitely be coming back again. Top tier service the entire way! Thank you for making my birthday week so special!

A group of us travelling needed to stay overnight in Belize City prior to taking a water taxi. (which was close) This property was awesome. SUPER clean and comfortable beds, spacious rooms and extremely helpful staff. They accommodated us with adjoining rooms. Used the pool - clean/tranquil - there are quiet hours, but we were welcome to sit around and quietly chill after. Workout room in the facility. Felt totally safe at the hotel. We did venture out a few blocks to the supermarket to buy extra snacks etc. - did not feel as secure but it was a quick 5 minute walk past the hospital. Totally would recommend this hotel - my group called this "an amazing find".

We stayed for one night in April before heading out to Caye Caulker. They arranged to pick us up from the airport and it all went very smoothly. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. All the staff is very helpful and friendly and were very responsive to my questions before the trip and while we were there. The Palms Belize is a great place to stay while in Belize city.

I could not have had a more enjoyable experience here. I have not traveled in years and was a little nervous at first. The hospitality Miss Julia and Miss Laura and staff showed as soon as I entered made me feel right at home. They went above and beyond to make sure I continued to feel this way even though I never expressed that. The property is beautiful to say the least. Perfectly clean and overly spacious room with a sliding glass door leading to my own 2 person patio. And a kitchen? I was blown away. The highlight of my trip was an excursion they planned for me to go fishing and snorkeling in Caye Caulker. A true highlight of my life. 6/5 stars if I could!

Beautiful property, perfect in every way on the property. I wouldn’t wonder far from property at night but that’s pretty much most of Belize city. But this place is super safe, gated little compound that is nicer than most Beverly Hills Hotels. Had a giant double room for our family and had a great time.
