“Very enjoyable and relaxing.We spent 90% of our time on the covered porch watching rafters drift by, the ducks navigate the current, butterflies float by, while talking and reading our books. The sound of the river is magnificent so sleeping with the bedroom window open was lovely... “The River Haven was a wonderful place to stay for a weekend getaway with friends. The sound of the river made it so tranquil and the house is cute and cozy. It was great to have a well-stocked kitchen and a TV to watch movies. The location is amazing - so close to Terwilliger Hot Springs, Sahalie/Koosah Falls, Proxy Falls, Clear Lake... “Beautiful cabin just above the McKenzie river. Our family really enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin. While visiting the area, we rafted and enjoyed several beautiful hikes. We also had a great meal at the Obsidian Grill....highly recommend! The only advice I would give to visitors is to ensure you get any provisions you may need well before you get there. The closest large grocery store is 45 minutes to one hour. Also, there's no laundry, so plan accordingly. ”
