“My ETA was well past the last check in, but a member of staff was kind enough to stay behind.
The dorm had 4 bunkbeds, an AC unit and a fan. The AC and fan worked well. Each guest was given a towel and a locker big enough to hold a large backpack. The bed had an Asian style firm mattress and a thin sheet, a private light, 2 sockets and a small shelf.
Common areas include a kitchen area, dining/working area with breakfast tables and high chairs, and another lounge area by the reception. There's……
“Rovira Suites is the best place to stay in Dumaguete. No competitor has really put together the same level of products and services. From tooth brushes you'd actually not mind taking home, to soft pillows that don't leave you with a sore neck, they've got it all down correctly. A suggestion I would offer to the management is being a bit more prompt on cleaning up what the customers leave behind would help greatly to maintain the brand.”
“We highly recommend the Hotel Palwa. Our third-floor room was in great condition: mattress and pillows were comfortable, Wi-Fi, shower, toilet, AC all worked very well. The hotel room was quiet, yet it is easily within walkable distance to downtown attractions. As a side note, there is a small bakery directly south, across the street, which serves the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had!

“over priced for airport shuttle 400 peso, tricycle only 100 peso. lost the room card, you got to pay 1000 peso. do not try massage in the hotel, no good. I recommend Original Nature Spa, it is nice, just turn right from the hotel, on the same street, walking 2 minutes. good house keeping and the doorbell boy”
“Great venue - what you see is what you get. There are things to improve on, a fridge in the room would be most wanted rather than a communal one on each floor after all it’s hot in the Philippines and you want a cold drink at night. Pool fantastic, staff fantastic and overall an 8.5 out of 10. Breakfast a little basic but the cafe behind does fantastic Filipino cuisine. It’s like an Ibis or your basic Novotel ”
