“Perfect place for a relaxing getaway! We paddle boarded on the Suwannee river and swam in it! Loved Hart Springs, too. Walked up and down the dirt road with our dog. Made arts and crafts on the front porch. Cooked meals together. Ate together. Laughed. Relaxed! Some recommendations- We brought our own water filter as the water there smells like sulfur! Highly recommend you do, too! The grill did not seem to work- the temperature gauge is out. So we grilled over the fire we made in the barrel.……

“The cabin is small but has everything you need. From a small fully equipped kitchen to bathroom and kayaks/canoes, the place was great. There was a grill and fire pit. One really big downside was the amount of ticks. You could not do anything outside without one of those jumping on your skin. The water outback was a little dark so not made for swimming but you could go for a little ride on canoe if you wanted.”

“This house/cabin is PERFECTLY situated on the Ichetucknee River. Clean, comfortable… huge screened in porches. It took our family about 2 and a half hours to paddle on the (available) kayaks upriver into the State Park and to the midpoint launch, and an hour to float/paddle back. The river access is… such a treat, and the deck out at the edge was much enjoyed. We saw a couple manatees swim by, even in April, which was a surprise.”

“Everything was just as advertised. Property was located right on the Sante Fe River a very, very short canoe paddle to the Ichetucknee River.If you haven't been the the Ichetucknee River is a must. There was plenty of room for sleeping and the kitchen was well equipped. The backyard was large and fenced for our doodle. It was very easy to find even arriving after dark. “Had a wonderful stay at this house for a gymnastics state meet in Gainesville. Price was great, house was spotless and had everything we needed. Loved that pets are allowed even though some of our party couldn't come and the dog stayed home with them, we loved having the option initially. Communication was easy and immediate. “Finding this cozy cottage covered in trees and it's shady porch was just what I needed to get away from the city. It is very centrally located to many springs and beautiful natural areas and works as a great home base. It only 2 blocks from Ft. White, but you feel like you are out in the country. I LOVED having the windows open and not having to worry who was looking in. Really enjoyed the stay, also fenced yard great for dogs.”
