Family Holiday
We had a wonderful stay at Tegusta Farmstay. The 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms were great, the kitchen is tiny but works ok when you have a beautiful deck to sit out on and bbq meals, wifi not the best but that is fine when you want to get away from reality. We had a fabulous time at this home with our small dog in tow. Highly recommend.

Reunion
4 couples each enjoyed individual room with unsuite. Patio was wonderful. Living area was all we needed but a little narrow. Would recommend it to friends. Communication with a person before we arrived was almost impossible. Most annoying.

lovely rural outlook, 4 berooms with AC, and a comfortable kitchen and small living area, with a Large deck over looking the hills. Very relaxing. Lots of animals and birds! Peacocks too!

The right balance of rural serentity and convenience to town
So to set the scene, Haridian (the host) has relocated a former Olympic Village cottage onto the rolling green hills of her rural property, which is located some 1.8-2.0km from the centre of town. The cottage is far enough away from the main house so you never ever feel like your privacy is being compromised. You can walk into town in about 30 minutes (you should as it’s a beautiful walk) , or drive it in less than 5 minutes. We stayed between Christmas and New Years at a time in the cycle of COVID where every man and his dog had escaped Sydney to be in the country and the town was absolutely brimming with people and campervans. So it was greatly appreciated to be so close to town to be able to dash in for a meal or some supplies, yet far enough away from the crowds to be away from the thronging hoards and relaxing. The location is whisper quiet except for the rural backing track of Haridian’s cows and chickens - and of course her resident peacocks! We were one of the first groups to stay in the cottage and Haridian is still in the process of adding more features and is slowly developing the amenities of the cottage further. As it is, the property is extremely comfortable and has a very usable kitchen and a gas hot water system for long relaxing showers, but some of the additions she discussed with us sound exciting - and on that basis - we'll be back for sure. This is a setting so beautiful that you’ll be having numerous cups of tea or coffee out on the deck while planning how to escape Sydney more often…..or permanently!
