The beautiful view of the wide river from the hot tub was so tranquil a member of our group asked what lake we were on. It’s the perfect distance from Madison and Chicago that you feel like you’ve truly gotten away, but close enough that lots of activities feel easily accessible. “We had an awesome week playing games, hiking nearby with kids, fishing off the dock and took a day trip to the Dells. There was plenty of space for our family of six but if you are planning on using the loft in the two bedrooms it’s a good idea to bring sleeping pads. Definitely would recommend to friends or family looking for a place in the area.”

“Great house and plenty of good space for a large group. Very private property and had an excellent time enjoying the views and the water.If you are getting in the lake I would suggest some water shoes, there were some sharp rocks.Overall, very happy with our stay!”

“We stayed over the Fourth of July weekend to celebrate my niece’s 29th birthday, and the house was absolutely beautiful. The neighborhood felt very safe, which we appreciated since we had children with us. The home featured several high-end, smart appliances, which made things convenient.However, there were some issues. Towels weren’t placed in the bathrooms or bedrooms—we had to search the basement laundry room to find them. There also seemed to be no pest control done at all, as we encountered……

“Cerro Vista is the perfect place to host a multi-generational family gathering! We celebrated our 40th anniversary and had our 3 adult children and their families (total of 13) stay with us here for a week. Our objective was to spend time together without having to go anywhere to entertain the 5 grandchildren (ages 6mo - 8). This was definitely the right place.There was enough space that we could have multiple small gatherings going on at the same time ... billiards, ping pong, card game,……
