“I usually try to stay close to whatever transport hub I’m using. But the were no rooms available in Interlaken, so I had to look further afield and happened upon a gem I would never have expected to find. Set on the mountain side with a view of Lake Thun and the Jungfrau mountains right there in front of your own private balcony. An amazing view. The room was compact but very clean. My only quibble was that bed had a footboard which is always a problem for tall people. The bus stop is right……

“This is a “must stay and relax” type of place. The staff is incredible, the customer service is superb and the amenities (spa. Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, boating, biking, etc.) is fabulous. The property is lakefront with amazing views. It is centrally located to visit several cities and easy parking. Highly recommend and the four restaurants are so good. “The hotel, location and the owners, everything was just amazing. You can see the snow-capped mountains and Lake Thun from the rooms and we loved it everyday while having coffee from our balcony. The hosts were very gracious. They not only provided us with recommendations but also lent us their jackets when we were going to visit Jungfraujoch saying that it might be cold up there. The whole stay felt very warm and welcoming and I’d highly recommend it.”
