“We had the best stay. The location was perfect and the hosts were amazing!”

“As we were approaching the apt, I was apprehensive about the neighborhood. Those thoughts were put to rest very quickly. The apartment was one of three that were connected. It was a very quiet neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac. It was very easy to get to and close to everything that we wanted to do. The inside was very clean and organized. The kitchen was furnished with everything that we needed. We only used one bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. There were tv’s in both……

“Booked online, Booking provides good info, lacking specific address AND failed to identify in description key code info. Following difficult to find 1 hour, contacted rental party for key code, no response. waited 0ne hour at 11pm, no response, next day, owner send e mail, will not send code via e mail, then, bookings send email from renter day late of key code. POOR customer service, I wonder if this was a scam property as OWNER should provide key code IMMEDIATLY upon confirm booking. DO NOT……

“Loved the location! Nice friendly town and great places to eat and drink. the town has weird hours though so many places are closed at certain times but that is how they are there. Loved the loft the only thing I would ask them to fix is the shower head. You need a new one, that's an easy fix. The other thing that they should do is file some of the brick nails down in the shower so no one gets hurt leaning up on the wall. ”

“The lounge exceeded our expectations! Kim is an amazing host, very accommodating and wonderful communication. The rental was adorable with special touches everywhere. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked, even had a ice machine! We were able to take a nice stroll to town from the location. Im looking forward to staying again!”

“Great stay, especially for the price point! You can’t get a hotel at this price/condition. Upon arrival, we were struck by the rental’s spaciousness and cleanliness!! It had everything we needed and the host was communicative. As host indicated in listing, the neighborhood setting is rural. However, it’s close to major roadways and we were pleased with location to downtown Hickory, South Mountain, etc.”

“We loved our stay here! Just 5 miles from our son’s home, we were able to bring our grandsons over for an afternoon visit, and we were able to have our breakfasts and dinners here. Clean and quiet, and very private. Thermostatically controlled gas log fireplace for cold morning coffee was awesome!!! Glenda was so accommodating, we love her!”

“Glenda, the proprietor, was very friendly and helpful. She is one of the hardest working women I have ever met. Our accommodations were clean and quiet. I really appreciated her eye for decorating with antiques. The welcome basket of treats and essentials was a pleasant surprise. We will definitely stay there again. ”
