Exactly what we wanted!

Perfect place for a family get-together. The house was so clean, well-appointed and welcoming for our extended family get together. They didn’t miss a step while decorating the home. We had fun visiting the area even though we had so much to enjoy on the property.

Nearly perfect getaway

We absolutely adored staying here and had such a wonderful time celebrating with family. The cabin was super clean and beautiful and the communication process was very easy and the staff responded immediately whenever we needed them. The only thing I didn’t like was that the laundry was coin operated and cost a lot of money to wash a dry one load. That wasn’t expected and we came without coins so it was tough to keep our towels dry to reuse. Typically when we stay In Places like this, laundry is included in the price so that was a bummer. This was the only downfall though and we had a really great time.

Beautiful resort and cabin.

We went to get a quick getaway for spring break. Very beautiful resort and cabin. Hoping to come back in the summer. Cabin was very clean and kitchen is well stocked. Be prepared to bring your own towels and soap, but they do list that in the description. One downfall is we had to vacuum the cabin before we left. I've never had to vacuum after staying in a VBRO, but that wouldn't stop me from coming again.

Weekend getaway

The property was clean and beautiful. I would recommend staying here for longer stays than just a weekend due to the amount of things you have to bring from home. We had a ton of fun and enjoyed the amenities. Some of the paddle boats weren’t working but we had fun with all the other water activities. Due to the necessary cleaning before check out and the amount of things you have to bring it would have been nice to have a little more time our last morning, so make sure to try and get as much packed the night before check out or get up early to get everything done before you leave the property.

Family time

The accommodations were wonderful. We came in October and it was between seasons. There were times where the directions were unclear because of the time of our visit. For example, where to put our garbage upon checkout. We were a bit disappointed about the WiFi. We stayed in cabin 4 and were not able to get WiFi reception. Ven though the weather was rainy, the hot tub was a HUGE success!!

Beautiful North Woods Cabin

Wonderful property for our family vacation. We loved having the paddle boats, kayaks, and paddle boards available for use on the lake shore. We spent a lot of time on the large deck overlooking the lake as well. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. We ate in for all our meals and always had whatever type of dishes we needed. Owner provides a great reminder list of things to bring--each VRBO place we've rented has different things supplied, so it was nice to know what we had to bring. Be sure to bring lots of quarters for washer/dryer if planning to use ($4 for load of laundry and $3.75 for dryer). Nice grocery store in Blackduck--we appreciated being able to pick up groceries there instead of driving to Bemidji. They had everything we needed. Owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. Great time for the whole family.

Home located on White Birch Property was great.

The home included all of the resort amenities for free. This home was so nice and with all the free activities for our family to take in on the resort was a big surprise for us

Gorgeous Cabin. Great Experience.

They cabin was amazing! It's just far enough away from Bemidji to feel like a getaway. Monte was very accommodating in making sure we were prepared. He even helped us fill up a flat tire. Thank you for a great experience!

Beautiful Home!

We really enjoyed our stay! This home is very nice and has a great layout for larger groups. All of our children had lots of room to play and sleep. The home was well equipped, just make sure to read the disclosures provided prior to your arrival as there are many items that you are required to bring with you (to make your stay more comfortable). There are lots of rules posted throughout the house, which could be off putting to some. WiFi was not working well when we were there, which was disappointing to the kids. All in all, the setting is beautiful and it is a lovely, well maintained property! We will be returning!

Has potential to be great

A variety of amenities offered at the resort but overall there were a lot of rules and notes posted everywhere on what to do and not to do which made it unwelcoming. The hospitality was ok at best. We never felt welcomed or appreciated for staying there which is too bad. Bugs were terrible at dusk, grass needed to be mowed, no extra linens for the futons or beds, and hot tub and pool could have used a good cleaning. Nickle and dimed for everything. Our group is not hard to please - the resort was about 90% there but the last 10% fell flat and that's why we will not be returning.

Well appointed home

Well appointed home. Had some issues with heat, but they were immediately responded to- overall good experience and would recommend.
