“Great location, cute basic home. Of note there are no extra blankets for your bed, or a throw to cuddle under for the couch, the mattress pads/covers were on the box spring/foundation and not the mattress itself so just a sheet on bare mattress. (Very odd!) There is a wood stove but please bring your own wood, starter and a new lighter. *of note most wood bundles were longer lengths and were hard to get into the wood stove without removing the front grate just fyi watch the length. Have fun in……

“Very clean and cozy place. Plenty of space for big families. Internet was down but the property manager was great and kept us in the loop. Great place to get away and off the grid, which was nice to see the kids playing outside and making genuine connections:) ”

“Easy access. Beautiful forest setting and creek access. Cozy little cabins have all u really need. 2 person hot tub was ready to go and enjoyable. Could use open/close able blackout shades over skylights so can sleep in a little longer. Otherwise really nice and easy 10min drive into soquel/Capitola village. Would return in a minute if wanting forest vs beach setting. Bonus is it’s out of the coastal fog bank. ”

“The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Shorts drives to the beaches in Capitola and Santa Cruz , the cabin is cute and has everything you need .my wife enjoyed the hot tub .we will be back ”

“We absolutely loved our stay in the Santa Cruz mountains. This place is nestled within the redwoods and is an absolute gem. The house and property are tailored to ensure a peaceful and relaxing vacation. And, the hosts are very welcoming and communicated exceptionally. Overall, 10/10 recommend!”

“The driveway & narrow road with close neighbors was a turn off, but the cabin itself was very nice and clean. If you plan on cooking you will need your own seasonings nesides salt and pepper. Rooms are nice, beds are comfortable.”

“this is a large, tranquil property very near the entrance of portola redwoods state park. there are 3 cabins, one occupied permanently in the front by a friendly and kind man ,Michael ( and his mom),who are keeping an eye out on everything. just behind the front cabin, there is a large 3 bedroom cabin which was our base for the park, along with a tiny ,but cozy cabin that was behind it, with plenty of room to stretch out for everybody. The owners were very easy to work with, and friendly, and……

“Very pretty location with lovely picture window overlooking the creek and redwoods. Comfortable bed. Quiet neighborhood. Well stocked kitchen except a wine opener is needed. Not their fault that Oct 2 was a 104 degrees but a workable A/C would have made it better. It did cool down at night so would still recommend this home. ”

After our stay there in early August, we agreed with the other reviews that it got too hot inside during the day without air conditioning. But the evenings did cool off and there was a supply of fans. Our biggest concern was that the cleaning service used perfumed laundry soap and cleaning products that were pretty strong smelling. “This is a very honest review. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. It is clean and remodeled with modern conveniences. It is a peaceful and serene place.The road to this cabin, which the owner tells you upfront is absolutely horrible. It is a 1 lane road that has hairpin turns, holes and will make you question your sanity of choosing this cabin. However, due to this road we chose to stay at the cabin and enjoy its tranquility instead of venturing out to explore. Also, this is not really a 4……
