“I haven’t been this far up north in a while so it was nice to experience each little town on the way up. Once my friend and I got there I noticed how peaceful and quiet the surroundings were. It was definitely a great place to spend a weekend enjoying the connections with friends and nature. ”

“What a cozy, great place to stay. This was super close to where our family was staying. Wonderful to sit on little porch under overhang and enjoy the falling rain. Everything was there that was needed. Even chairs for the deck. All bedding was there. Beds were comfortable. And Lana (owner) messaged prior to our stay and for every question after she was immediately available. We felt safe and well taken care of.”

“Great location, cabin was very clean and fairly spacious. There's no ac but having windows open and using block fans made it work well. There were tons of bugs around, but that's to be expected. Would definitely come back!”

“The tent cabin is really cute and was comfortable for a family of four. We used the sauna and also rented the boat for a couple of days. It is on the steep driveway, which isn’t a problem for us since our car is four-wheel-drive, but you will want to avoid driving to the bottom if you have a 2 Wheel Dr. car. Be aware that the lakefront is not swimmable because of high vegetation, but the lake itself is beautiful and great to take a boat on. Close to Grand Rapids and many other activities. ”

“We enjoyed our stay in this cozy little cottage. It had everything we could possibly need. It was very comfortable. Randy and Shannon were the perfect hosts. Upon our arrival, they helped us with our luggage. Randy even went so far as to have another person available to help my husband into the fishing boat. The fishing boat was clean and Randy did his best to find the good fishing spots. He knows where the fish are. We will definitely return.”

“Our stay was simply lovely at the Leech Lake cabin. We loved the rustic ambience with an amazing view. Skye was professional and so easy to work with. We hope to return again this fall. ”

“The property was perfect for our family. Loved the lake! Only caution I would give is if you’re bringing a dog. The back porch they are required to stay in isn’t large enough to keep a dog. I felt awful for our lab when we had to bring him in but he was so happy majority of the time outside and swimming”

“Wonderful owner- she's at the bigger house on site but she very much gives you privacy. The beach is loaded with anything you'd need, tubes, paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, chairs, fire pit, etc. And has a wonderful sandy beach. The location is super private and quiet but close to town. Pokegama lake is great for fishing, tubing skiing. Water is clear. Cabin is good, has everything you need, bedrooms don't have doors but two have curtains and that works just fine. “ My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully renovated comfortable cabin on tranquil Vermillion Lake. The cabin is well equipped with everything you may need - just bring your food and clothing. They even provided the makings for smores! We had success catching pan fish right off the dock, and loved watching and listening to the loons and other wildlife. The cabin's air conditioning was nice to have, when smoke from Candian wildfires affected the air quality on one day. Also,……
