This is an old grand beautiful hotel which is upgraded, so rooms are large and prices are reasonable. We had a two bedroom unit which was completely private with a large common area and bar-fridge/ coffee making etc. bedrooms were large with king sized beds.
There are sockets for bedside lamps but there weren’t lamps, a minor fixable issue.
Interesting tourist attractions nearby include art gallery, trams, library, Chinatown museum(very interesting), many restaurants and shops. We also loved nearby parking station free to us on the weekend. Overall, highly recommended. Took photos from every vantage point of beautiful wooden panels, stairs etc and lead light glass. Loved it. B from Brisbane.
