“We absolutely loved our stay and will be back again. It was cozy, comfortable and peaceful. We sat on the porch in the mornings and evenings. Saw ducks flying low over the lake, saw fish jumping, lizards, dragonflies and even a solid black squirrel! Listened to the frogs in the evening and one night watch the lightening show. We loved the water fountain in the lake and the fact it stayed lit at night. Beautiful view from bed! That squirrel was a first for both of us. The host was quick to……

“Our experience with this property was extremely disappointing. The original reservation was canceled by the host the day we were supposed to check in, while we were already traveling from Florida to North Carolina. We were placed in a replacement property that was completely unfit for guests.The home had serious electrical issues, including lights and outlets that didn’t work. The stove was broken, and the linens were used and dirty—we had to wash them ourselves. There was dust everywhere, food……

“This quaint little home near the campus of NC State University was perfect for our overnight stay for college orientation. The home was clean, there were plenty of amenities, and we will stay again when we are back in the area. ”

“Tom communicated with me awesomely from booking through check out. This place is incredibly thoughtfully curated for a short stay. Entertainment system is great, bathroom is chefs kiss, entry and exit is both easy and secure. Convenient 24 hr BP station a block over for any last minute cravings. Bedding was verrrry comfortable. When coming back through Raleigh will not be staying anywhere else from now on. Very walkable.”

“The area felt safe and there was a lot to do within walking distance. Check in and out was easy. The FAQ guide didn’t have a lot of specific information. The one bad thing was the WiFi was only available in the common area (pool, games etc), not in the actual room. ”

“The property was beautifully decorated, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The owner had left nice little touches like two laundry pods and a basket of snacks and water in the fridge. We were there for NC State Orientation. We were a 9-minute drive to the campus and a 7-minute drive to downtown Raleigh for dinner. ”
