“Completely redone/new. We think it may have just been done, because there were sparse kitchenware. Enough for two, and we managed to cook, but definitely needs an upgrade as far as pots, pans, utensils and dishware. Keep in mind there is no yard, so if you bring pets plan on going to Hopatcong State Park (three minute drive) to walk them. Also, it’s on a hill and the dock and lake are only accessible by many steep steps. ”

“We rented this house during a dance competition that was being held at a local high school. The competition was about 15 minutes away so this location fit perfectly. Upon checking into the house, we were very surprised at the amount of steps to get to the house and that that was not listed initial listing. Be wary if you have trouble navigating stairs this will be a difficult home for you. Additionally, the bed situation with the home was listed a bit confusing. This home has three full-size……

“Overall the property inside was comfortable and spacious. The hosts was friendly and responsive. The property lists backyard (which was something we were looking forward with the 6 kids) but it was not useable. Area needs to be cleaned, space had construction materials and collection of broken appliances. ”

“Pros - Great communication, central location in Madison. Cons - The house is run down, wasn't clean. Kitchen cupboards were literally dirty. Kitchen is very poorly stocked, not even paper towels. The House itself is old, unmaintained, and poorly decorated, lacking furniture and an inviting feeling. Lastly, if you are a light sleeper, you can hear the road and the shades in bedroom windows don't block light from coming in. ”

“I just wanna say that I had the best time in my life, with my three boys and my mother-in-law! It was a really hard year for us all and it was really nice to get away and have a great time. The place we stayed at was amazing. Exactly if not better than the pictures. really easy to communicate anytime I had a problem or question the owner was right there either texting me right back or even she had to make a house visit which I greatly appreciate!
