"Very clean and comfortable room. Friendly and welcoming staff and lovely continental breakfast included in price. "It was a little bizarre to ‘check yourself in’ to a hotel and I’m sure in the winter months it might feel even more strange BUT everything had been thought about. "So peaceful and cosy, with added extras, like a welcome basket, and electric blankets!! as the nights were chilly I'd recommend the Lodge to anyone, and there are two holiday cottages at the end of the estate too, next to the Hosts big old house.
