Liked the staff...courteous and helpful.
At first glance, the room looked lovely and clean.
One day, the elevators were not working. Being on the 5th floor and at my "mature" age, this was not ideal but I dealt with it. Needed the laundry room and someone had left their dried laundry in all the dryers - for hours.
Back to my room: I was washing a bowl and a spoon when I dropped the spoon. Upon picking it up, I noticed down on the bottom of the wall---4 areas that had been peed on by a cat.!!!! Blatantly obvious. This sweet critter had also scratched and shredded both front sides of the couch.
The new ? refrigerator was clean but quite noisy.
Although the bedding seemed to be clean the top cover was terribly old and lumpy. I held it up to the light and could see where the filling fibers were so old they were merely blobs of lumpy fiber scattered throughout the lining.
On pulling the curtains open, I noticed that there still needed to be some finish work on the top frames of the windows...
BREAKFAST was quite lovely. Basic but very tasty with an assortment of extras : pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc.
Upon checking out, I was mistakenly charged for parking ( I did not have a vehicle! ) and purchases from the little "shop". Fortunately, they took care of this right away.
Would I come here again? I don't think so.
There is potential but rooms really need to be in better shape.
