“Gemäß der Anzeige und den schönen Fotos im Netz hatten wir einen super Plan – „unser Ferienhaus“ in Umbrien - eine Woche Umbrien erkunden, eine Woche am Pool genießen und eine Woche arbeiten…tja, dieser Plan ist eklatant gescheitert. Es wird kein Ferienhaus vermietet sondern ein Apartment im Erdgeschoss in einem bewohnten Haus mit einer älteren Frau, die nur italienisch spricht samt Hund und mind. vier Katzen sowie ständigen Besuchern; wir waren nie alleine und es war ständig laut. “Very quiet, amazing property. Our room had two bedrooms, three toilets, full kitchen with dishwasher and coffee maker. Dining room. With terrace seating for eight. All built on the site of a 12th century monistary. Restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. Views from every window. Would make for amazing family holiday. You need a vehicle!”

“Villa Eleanora is in quite a lovely location convenient to many sites in Umbria. The facilities were very well taken care of and clean. The outdoor terrace and pool areas were really lovely. The inside could use a little updating especially the kitchen area. Also more lighting would help. All in all quite a nice experience. ”

“We’ve always wanted to experience the Italian way of life and spending a month in Todi was the ideal vacation. Away from the crowds, beautiful countryside, friendly people and comfortable living. This house gave us all that…it is an older house but we adjusted very quickly to the ebbs and flows of it. It had everything we needed and was very well maintained.Past reviews mentioned the hill to town, this is not to be underestimated, it’s a hike but you do get used to it and the bonus is you’ll be……

“Stunning location! The staff are a highlight especially the ladies preparing the food for dinner. Excellent food. The rooms were worn heavily, with little things that could be easily fixed.”

“This property was amazing and fit our needs perfectly. We had 22 people and each group had their own area but we gathered daily in the main dining area. We grilled out, had a chef come and fix us dinner and several days of pit luck. Daily trips to the surrounding hilltop towns of Todi, Orvieto, Spello, Sienna, and Florence one day. You definitely need a car but that gave all of us options. We rented in Perugia and others chose to rent cars in Rome and Sorrento. The property is well maintained……
