“We always stay at Hampton when we travel. However, recently, I have begun to notice an unpleasant trend. Has there recently been a company memo sent out to your locations that require the front desk staff NOT to smile and NOT to in anyway indicate that they are happy the customer is checking in?? “Beautiful property & loft. Our young boys and dog loved roaming the property- fishing, catching crawfish, and exploring. Very quiet & peaceful for the adults. It was about 90 degrees during our stay so the loft AC was much appreciated. Jay & Heather are great hosts and so were their pups. Very hot & humid weather so we had to battle the bugs, but it’s to be expected in the country. Recommend bug spray in the summer months. ”

“Stayed for a national Dance finals competition in Clyde and wanted to stay somewhere other than a hotel to be able to relax and wind down after long days of competition and this place did not disappoint. It was very relaxing and peaceful and my granddaughters enjoyed the experience of yelling across the two loft style bedrooms. They will have fond memories for a long time and if we return to this competition next year, we will definitely check the availability of this beautiful renovated barn.”
