“The house was cozy and warm, and lovely and quiet. We had a nice relaxing stay, garden is lovely and delicious homemade cake on arrival. Host was helpful and accomodating, and check in was easy. Nice walks from the cottage. Very close to the border with Wales, went to Powis Castle which is worth a visit. The local area is a bit sparse for shops, would recommend having a car, but Shrewsbury is a lovely historic town closeby, we used the park and ride (15 mins away). Definitely would recommend……

“There are plenty of places I banged my head: the entrance door and the low rafter upstairs hallway. All in all nice location, at least set back somewhat from the road and a since creek running right next to the property. Slight mildew smell, which could be fixed by a dehumidifier. Kitchen was modern and pleasant to use with a small hotel fridge.”

“Excellent stay in comfortable, well-appointed cottage, far from the madding crowd. Plenty of places to visit not too far away. An excellent retreat for recharging mental batteries.”

“Fantastic place this was the 2nd time we stayed here within 6 weeks, at first glance the pods seem close together and not very private, however this is not the case the hot tubs are set back so people walking past dont notice you and the cabins seem to be sound proof. We would definitely recommend and will most likely go again in the near future.”

“We stayed here as a family of 19 for 2 nights over New Year ranging from age 5-70. It was good as we all had our own individual cottages with kitchens, living rooms and bathroom which gave us our own space but the communal area is the Hall was being enough when we wanted to be together. Only issue was the gas heaters and log burners not working properly in a couple of cottages but electric heaters were available and there is central heating in two of the cottages. “An absolute beautiful property perfect for a family get together. The property is very well presented and cleanliness is second to none. Its a very well equipped property with everthing you could ever need. The games room was superb and all the family enjoyed. The layout of the property is perfect and there are lots of seating areas if you are looking to relax. Checkin process was super simple and the host is always on hand if required. We had an amazing stay and would 100% stay here again.”
