The area is beautiful without another house in sight once you arrive at front porch. We only stayed one night for our Koebel's trip, but it was very relaxing and quiet for the night. It is a 15 min trip to the amusement park which was great for us. We were able to slow down after a busy day and it was great to be able to heat up some food after we realized we were starving.……

“Beautiful house and serene surroundings.”

“Well kept getaway with excellent access to creek for kayaking and bike/running paths at Swatara State Park plus south to icecream at the KOA. We kayaked and biked each day, coffee on the deck by the creek and the back porch, fire pit at night, used the gas grill for dinner. Exactly what we were looking for!”

“Me and my friends just spent our New Year's here for two nights. The man cave lives up to its name-- we spent a good deal of the weekend playing pool, darts, and card games, used the grill, and were just a few blocks off from some great food and liquor stores. I'd imagine any sort of group would enjoy coming here, though, given other advantages like access to trails and monuments in historic PA. Everything worked just as we wanted it to, and Mary's filled out the space to create a great place……

“My family and I come up every year to go to Knoebels. We decided to rent a house this year instead of camping, this house was right next to so many great restaurants and shops, we didn't need to drive to go eat. Plus the house was so clean! The owner also left a binder of local places to visit and try. Would highly recommend this house. ”

“Best property we’ve ever rented! The home was extremely clean upon arrival. We had a couple of concerns and the hosts responded promptly and are so kind. Great place for a large family vacation. Our grandkids loved the pool of course! We enjoyed the fire pit (wood provided!), hot tub, and pool table. Kids toy closet was well stocked and so was the kitchen. We cooked in most days and had everything we needed. Beware that the pool house water comes from two holding tanks and several in our group……

“We came to Pottsville for Yeungling and Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, and The Carol Century House couldn't have been more perfect. The house was charming, and that part of the street was pretty quiet. It was 12 blocks from Yeungling and a few more from a variety of restaurants. There were two streets parallel that had gorgeous houses. It was a perfect neighborhood for walking our dog. The house itself was adorable. Very clean and very nicely remodeled (in fact, I want that master bath in my house!).……

“My family & I had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful house. We enjoyed the hot tub, cooking meals & eating together, playing ping-pong & pool & watching movies. All of the spaces were roomy & comfortable. Host was excellent with communication.”
