“Rustic but new, clean and comfortable place to stay that was very quiet and removed from only other rental along the gravel road. Outhouse was very clean, no bugs, and easy to use despite needing to go outside to the corner of the cabin. Hosts very responsive and helpful, would stay again. I would note that the Wifi is on the weaker side but I was able to do everything I needed. ”

“My family booked the cabin for a short, 3-day rest and each day was so full. Packed with coffee in the hot tub, listening to the creek, short or long (depending on mood) walks up the stream while my husband and son fished for native trout. Enjoying meals on the grill, a roaring fire in the pit just outside and movie nights outside on the covered porch with our bodies telling when to sleep and wake. A true gem at the end of the road where life slows to let you savor! Blessed to have visited……

“The cabin was very nice & clean. Sherry & Okey makes you feel like family with the fresh eggs & salads they provided for us. If you do have a dog like we do they also make the dog feel very welcomed. I would most definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who wants peace & quiet & a beautiful view of the mountains.”

“Cold . Rain. Muddy. Cabin warm. Clean. No towels for showers. One kitchen towel. Well water had a bad odor. I guess that’s to be expected . Overall a good place to stay if I go back to the area. ”

“Really great time. Our goal was to do nothing in the middle of nowhere and we did just that. The location is secluded and remote. Cell service is sketchy. Tv did not have streaming ability or the ability to mirror from your phone so if you want to watch movies being dvd’s. I wanted to read anyway. The hot tub was great. Perfect actually. Stargazing was exceptional. Couldn’t have been more quiet. If you’re looking for a secluded getaway in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, this is the place……

“The cabin was private on a mountain side, beautiful views. Family of six, plenty of room for all of us. Great deck overlooking the valley below, hot tub and bathrooms were great. Would definitely stay there again. ”
