“Driftwood is one of a set of barn conversion cottages way off the beaten track and just a few minutes walk away from the South-West Coast path. It was an ideal base for us to walk a new stretch of coastline which is as good as any of the parts of the UK coastline that we have walked before. Other families and couples were around but we hardly heard or saw any of them and you could hear a pin drop overnight, such was the tranquillity of the place. Comfortable and well equipped, and spotlessly……

“We hadden een heerlijke tijd in Trinity cottage. Het huis is gezellig en heel stijlvol ingericht, met veel licht en mooie afwerking. Alles was er aanwezig om je meteen thuis te voelen. Ook de ligging was perfect! In het gezelligste straatje van Appledore, vlak bij de kade. Het was gewoon geweldig !”

“We were totally blown away by for us a perfect cottage. It was spacious & well equipped. No local facilities but major town of Bideford was 6 min drive away. Yes you could find small bits of wear & tear but nothing took away the complete feeling of total relaxation. Yes we would & will book again.”

“Perfect property to enjoy the views from lots of different rooms, with easy walk into the high street aswell for a dip in the sea and fab walks. The property has lovely bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, warm shower and even a loo with a view. Fab stay for the family. ”

“The Coach House was very comfortable and the swimming pool rota meant I had lots of opportunities to swim with the pool to myself.The gardens were lovely to walk around and the area very peaceful.”

“Nice well equipped property with the facilities needed to use it as a base to explore the area and have day trips out from. Good communication from a nice host with suggestions to visit the area and a nice welcome pack which was a nice touch. Property has a freezer which isn't listed (but no ice maker which is listed), a good selection of games and DVDs for the TV in the 2nd bedroom. Good facilities at the site although no facility to pre-book general swimming sessions so might be worth going……
