“This cottage had everything we needed as a family of four! My son (12) loves to fish and we bought a 30 pole from Walmart... he spent every night fishing the creek behind the cabin. He caught trout back there which was exciting because we are from the midwest. We were also visiting to hike in the redwoods and Fern Canyon. Both were incredible and a short drive. We would absolutely stay here again... in fact this was our favorite place to stay of the entire trip. ”

One comment - the beach is not walking distance, it is a short drive to a state park (with entrance fee) to get to the closest beach. Thanks for helping make a great stay!”

“We have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties. This was one of the best. We enjoyed the proximity to the various redwoods parks, grocery and eateries, as well as some lovely beaches. The kitchen was the best-equipped, neatest we've encountered. The place was just the right size for two, and the ability to walk down and sit looking at the ocean was a bonus. A positively sumptuous bed was only slightly offset by the fact the couch is not very comfortable. We did not use the hot tub, so I can't speak……

“This was a great location for our Redwood national forest visit. The ocean views were spectacular. It is an older house but is in good condition. We spent a lot if our time in the huge back yard. It was a great place for everyone age 12 to 66.”

“Overall the house was clean and as described. Within walking distance of a good restaurant, a breakfast/lunch spot, a winery tasting room, and a local market. Worth noting our t-mobile cell phones did not have service so using the wifi was a must.”
