“Treasured family traditionThis was my 5th time staying at the Bensons' cabin. As always, it was amazing. We live only a half hour or so away, but don't have our own lake place. Our annual stay at Clearwater provides us many northern Minnesota lake memories. We especially love rowing and stand up paddle boarding, and my girls have really gotten into fishing the past couple of years (this time my older daughter added a nice bass to our sheetpan seafood "boil"). “I haven’t been this far up north in a while so it was nice to experience each little town on the way up. Once my friend and I got there I noticed how peaceful and quiet the surroundings were. It was definitely a great place to spend a weekend enjoying the connections with friends and nature. ”

“Beautiful cabin, with everything you need and more. Great private swimming beach, great fishing. Will come and stay again. Adults, grandchildren, and dogs all had a great experience. All you need to bring is your clothes, and food. ”

“Great location, cabin was very clean and fairly spacious. There's no ac but having windows open and using block fans made it work well. There were tons of bugs around, but that's to be expected. Would definitely come back!”

“The tent cabin is really cute and was comfortable for a family of four. We used the sauna and also rented the boat for a couple of days. It is on the steep driveway, which isn’t a problem for us since our car is four-wheel-drive, but you will want to avoid driving to the bottom if you have a 2 Wheel Dr. car. Be aware that the lakefront is not swimmable because of high vegetation, but the lake itself is beautiful and great to take a boat on. Close to Grand Rapids and many other activities. ”

“I booked this as a last minute getaway weekend for me and my dog and I am so glad I did! Everything was exactly as listed, such a cute cabin on a lovely little lake. Nice and secluded but not too isolated, it’s perfect! The owner was super responsive via messaging and left plenty of detailed information about the stay/area that was easy to access. Can’t wait to come back :) Highly recommend!! ”
