Friendly staff. Otherwise not great. Not a property we’d stay at again. Super hard beds and pillows, average clean bathroom. Room was good and clean, just not the bathroom. Room also wasn’t ready at check in but just waited about 10 minutes. Pool and Reef not open much.

Staff was short when we asked questions. If you want the pool don't go here. The pool is part of the water park attached to the hotel and there is an added fee during park hours. The pool has no reliable schedule outside park hours. Overpriced and poor care. I can excuse some renovation but rudeness is not okay.

I have stayed at Big Horn resort many times. Unfortunately, this last time it was a let down. The hotel was under construction and I was not given a heads up. My family was put in an unfinished room, the floor was sticky like soda had been spilt all over it. The bedsheets were not clean. There was trim missing around the closet l, some walls were half painted, fixtures were missing, and the freezer had something forming in it. For $200 a night I expected more, I did complain and were told they were sorry but no other rooms were available.

Hotel needs some updating for the price of rooms, also paying for the water park when you are a hotel guest seems crazy. That is the whole reason we stayed there but you still had to pay. Casino is small and only a few updated machines.

Generally, the hotel was fine. A few things that bothered us: The side door opened without a key. We found an eyelash in the sink. The man at check-in was basically nice, but made a comment about, "if you feel lucky" when referencing the bar. Not appreciated.

We were bummed to find out the water park was closed during the entire duration of our stay. Our room key deactivated twice while we were there and had to get another one each time. I never had my phone around the key card either so not sure why that was happening. The bath tub also had issues and the stopper wasn’t working so we called maintenance and they worked on it for about an hour while we were there and it was never actually fixed during our stay. The staff up front was nice usually. The breakfast was ok, we never went super early usually right in the middle of the times and it seemed like the options were very limited unless you came right as the breakfast started.

Smoke alarm was going off in the room when we arrived, talked to the front desk and supposedly a maintenance man would be right up, after waiting 40 minutes I called again to be told there was no one there to help. Luckily the head maintenance came up to help us out. Room was dirty, the office chair in the room was all worn out. For the price I won’t be staying again.

Resort attached to a waterpark was a great opportunity to entertain all ages. The life guards could have been better trained, dangerous to see infants in the hot tub. Breakfast included was good. Having access to a washer and dryer was an excellent bonus.
