“The home was spacious and clean. We appreciated the comfortable beds and linens.The kitchen is well stocked and functions well.Simply and nicely decorated.We looked forward to kayaking and enjoyed that, but,it is quite mushy getting down and into the water. We went to all the recommended locations and enjoyed them all. It is a quiet location, free of traffic and crowds. After our stay at the blue heron we finished the day at st Michael’s just 48 minutes from the blue heron…… it’s a lovely……

“My family and I have been coming to St. Mary’s city the last weekend of July for 20 years now. This home fit all of us wonderfully. Check in and check out was super easy! The kitchen was well equipped to make dinner for a group of 11 adults and one toddler. The house has a large living room on the main floor and a large game area with couches in the basement. This layout was perfect. The view was beautiful. Sitting on the dock at night and looking at the stars while the water in the bay crashed……

“We srayed at this property due to number of guests and proximity to the college. It was a great mix of old and new. This house was wonderfully appointed and everyone enjoyed their stay. The views were spectacular and we had everything we needed and more. It was unexpectedly remote, but once we got used to it, it was barely noticeable. We are even considering staying here again ”

“We had a great stay! We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and closed in porch to enjoy the sunset without getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. We were traveling with family and were grateful to have the 2.5 baths and were thrilled to be able to bring our dogs with us!The property was conveniently located ten minutes away from part of the IronMan bike route, and while a bit of a drive from Cambridge, was a good place to stay for the event.”

“This property was a perfect location for our family as we attended a wedding on Hooper's Island. After we were able to get in the house, we discovered an extremely welcoming home. “My best friend and I spent a weekend at the lodge and had a wonderful time. We were welcomed by Debbie and she gave us a nice tour of the place. We love sea glass hunting and there is a great spot not far from the lodge where we found TONS. I also found shark teeth! The lodge was very clean, unique, and in a beautiful location. We can't wait to come back with our husbands!”
