“The cabinet is brand new, neatly maintained and nicely designed, with full kitchen and a big scenic window overseeing the stunning snow mountain view and also with a skylight at right above the bed enabling stary view or aurora scenary while sleeping if you are lucky enough. The host and the staffs are enthusiastic and are willing to provide all assistance for your need. I was panic for my car broke down, they offer help for sending me to the Glacier Lagoon to meet up the tour and also help me……

“We stayed here for two nights so that we could do a glacier and ice cave hike, and a glacier lagoon boat trip at Jokulsarlon. The guesthouse was in an amazing setting close to the mountains. The cabins were clean and very comfortable. The included continental breakfast was excellent. It would have been nice if they'd offered a dinner option too, but the owner was able to recommend the restaurant at the nearby Hotel Smyrlabjorg. We ate there both nights and the food was amazing. “Our trio booked the warm and cozy cottage, with its own parking, 2 comfy bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, spacious dining room and lounge, speedy Wi-Fi and private deck, from where we viewed the northern lights (don't forget the key!). The accommodation was immaculate. The shower drained slowly, but we were forewarned of the issue. The breakfast buffet was varied and hearty; don't miss the homemade lamb pâté and jams! We found Hólmur Farm to have the most beautiful view while having breakfast……
