“Einzigartiges, urgemütliches Hotel mit liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmern im Herzen der Altstadt Stockholms. Alles kann fussläufig erreicht werden. Die U-Bahn befindet sich 200m entfernt. Das Frühstück war phantastisch, es fehlte an nichts. Vielen Dank an das nette Personal für 4 Tage Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen Hotel.”

“Short stay but nice though small room”

“The reception at night didn’t give a clear instruction on how we park our car when we already arrived very late. He can’t speak English very well so we can’t communicate smoothly. Also, the reception at daytime was not keen in answering our questions, which was not we expect for a “four-star” hotel.”

“This was my second stay at Hotel Skeppsholmen and it was a far inferior experience than my first. One of the hotel's main attraction is the designs and furniture in the rooms. The designs were neither functional nor aesthetically pleasing. The tv could be turned on by my neighbour's remote (staff finally came to pull the power plug). There was a mini fridge that doubled as a bedside table which felt warm in the evening. The wall light above the headboard was also oddly located. The bathroom had……

“wonderful location of the hotel. breakfast was fine. The position of the air-conditioner in the penthouse is right above the head on the left and somehow it had some strange noise. Had to sleep with the air-con off for several nights. Fortunately it was not too hot. Knew the room was fairly small when booking, not complaining, just left the luggage on the plank in the toilet and covered it with a raincoat bought from a museum . Problem solved. Couldn't leave it on the floor due to knee problems.……

“The reception was always busy but the staff were nice and helpful, especially Celine who had provided immediate assistance in my handling of luggages and transport arrangement. ”

“I have never felt so welcomed and at home in any Hostel before. There us no party, but just profound discussions going on all the time. You can learn a lot just ny listening. The host is a great guy. Takes care of anything you wish for swiftly and has his heart at the right place too. For me, this is the only Hostel I'll stay at in Stockholm in the future. ”
