“I came here because, I wanted to go up to Mount Shasta and go to Panther Meadow and just enjoy the area. I had rented other places before that weren't close to all the things I liked. This was the perfect location for me. The Whitney Cottage is just beautiful. The kitchen is big and spacious with everything you could possibly imagine that you need. It's there. There's a big rustic dining room table and chairs, that gives you the mountain cottage type atmosphere along with the bed in the bedroom……

“Absolutely perfect. bed was very comfortable with nice sheets; loved kitchen - French press/ coffee and coffee grinder was so neat and delicious. Wallpaper with squirrels was so cute. I have been wanting to stay in Dunsmuir- I worked at clinic there for 3 years but you are so busy there’s never any time to check out Dunsmuir. My husband and I finally got to check out Dunsmuir brewery and just walk around Dunsmuir, and visit bee kind bakery! Everything there and at the brewery was so delicious……

“This was a great property to stay at. Nice and quiet and away from all the craziness of civilization. It had everything we needed to cook meals and clean up afterward. My only issue was on the first morning there wasn't any hot water. I contacted the host and they got back to me quickly with an easy fix to the problem.”

“Amazing trip! This place is exactly what it’s presented to be. It’s in a perfect location that allowed us pretty quick access to every activity we did. Day 1- settle in. Day 2- explore town and afternoon boat ride at Fun Factory Powerboat Adventures w/ Captain Michelle. Great fun! Day 3– half day of rafting w/river dancers w/ Martin. Day 4 zip lining at crater lake zip lines which is in southern Oregon (but an experience of a life time).Day 5- Faery Falls to bring our kids to where we……

“Our stay here in Dunsmuir was exactly what I had hoped it would be. The little house is great, clean and comfortable with a good energy-feel. We were apprehensive at first about the waterbed (we're in our fifties) - it was firm and comfortable as one should be. Walking distance to eats and arts. Right at the foot of Shasta... who could ask for more. Dena was great, friendly and welcoming. Thank you, great stay. We'll stay here again when we're back to Shasta!”
