“We loved our stay in Lauterbrunnen, and this property was a wonderful choice for our group of three couples. The location is excellent—just steps from the bus stop and with a lovely trail that leads directly into town.A few areas could use improvement. The mattresses, particularly in the loft, were quite uncomfortable, and the ones in the bedrooms felt close to worn out. “This place was the best place we could have stayed in Grindelwald! The views were awesome, the supplied amenities were great, and having a parking spot was a good addition too. We had everything we needed to make all of our meals while there and the walk to the COOP supermarket took about 7 minutes. “We stayed there for 3 plus weeks! Just an amazing property! We have stayed at wonderful places around the world and pound for pound this was as nice as any. “Our stay was marvelous! The apartment itself was spotless and very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The views of the mountains and waterfalls were unbelievable!
The location was a 3 minute walk from a bus stop, yet it is also an easy 15 minute walk into town. We loved that we were in a quiet area away from the bustle of the village. The host answered email questions very promptly, and her directions to locate the property and lock box are very detailed and included photos.……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Lauterbrunnen and our stay at Chalet Edelweiss. We were able to walk to a wonderful restaurant for dinner and the bus stop was right outside our door which made getting to our day’s excursions very easy. The home had everything we needed and even though there was only one bathroom it worked well for our group of 4 women. I highly recommended Chalet Edelweiss if you are planning a holiday in or around Lauterbrunnen.”
