“My girls and I loved our stay!! Everything was meticulous and well thought out! I wish we could have stayed longer and/or had more time to enjoy the house - we had a pretty packed schedule when we were in town. I hope to be back and enjoy the relaxing scenery in the future and not be "on the go"! Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated. We were given the option to arrive early, however our schedule did not allow for that - the gesture was nice and appreciated, though! ”

The house was very clean, the rooms are much larger than what is pictured, the beds were very comfortable, they have blackout curtain curtains, and the host was extremely responsive. “The house was great for our large family (8 adults and 1 infant). We were in town for a wedding. Plenty of space at a great price - so much nicer than staying at a hotel. It rained a lot every day so we did not get to enjoy the outdoor spaces nor walk through the quiet neighborhood. The property was exactly as described on the VRBO page. Thanks for wonderful stay. ”

“What an idyllic place! Guests who wake with the roosters can admire cattle grazing peacefully in the mist in the hills behind the house. Friendly horses amble to the fence to greet you. Our dog was fascinated by the farm animals and loved walking the grounds.Upon arrival, we found a handwritten note from the hosts, who could not have been friendlier or more hospitable.The farmhouse is large, comfortable and extremely well-stocked. We were delighted to find fresh eggs in the refrigerator and……

“This was a great place to stay! Gene goes above and beyond in making your stay as comfortable and as easy as possible! There was plenty of space in the home and we felt like we were at home while we were staying there! We are talking about going back for a week long family vacation because we loved the home and it's location. Thanlks again to Gene for a wonderfil stay and we hope to stay again this summer!”

“We had an amazing stay at The Haven. Booking and communication with the owner was quick and easy. Check in was a breeze. We got a chance to meet the owners who were the absolute nicest couple. Any questions we had were answered so fast. The location of the property is amazing. You are walking distance to restaurant/bars one way and the lake the other way. The house is so beautifully decorated and the welcome basket is such a wonderful treat! I would 100% book this property again and again……

“Beautiful private lot with a great yard and plenty of parking. Kitchen was stocked well and the bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and laid out well. We enjoyed seeing wildlife in the backyard ( a beaver and bunny visited). Was a great experience. ”

“There is something special about this place! The owners make you feel like family and are extremely responsive and accommodating. House was very clean, has everything you need ( from first aid kits, ziplock bags, k-cups, games, you name they have it!). The views of the lake are so peaceful (and can be seen while lying in bed from two of the bedrooms) and it was the perfect place for our family to relax, unwind and regroup from our long days at the soccer fields! We can’t wait to go back.”
