I loved the property! It was beautiful and the staff were amazing. Only complaint I have is the restaurant. Insanely over priced and I definitely got food poisoning and so did my husband. But otherwise it was a great stay bwe are just avoiding the restaurant when we come back.

Loved the proximity to the lake, the boat ramp. The restaurant on site was good, food and service was good. Reasonably priced for a resort restaurant. I thought the breakfast offering was very limited, lots of room for improvement. Overall good stay. Would stay again.

The property is absolutely gorgeous, and the grounds are impeccably maintained with stunning views all around. However, the hotel itself is in need of a major facelift. The rooms feel very dated, with an unpleasant musty smell and a muggy atmosphere that detracts from the overall experience.

This hotel is in need of an upgrade!! The room had a musty smell when we walked in and the carpeting was dirty!! Lamps were wobbly. When I sat on the end of the bed the whole head lifted!! I think it was beautiful back in 1950 but, sadly, has not been kept up to date.

Cute hotel to an extent. There was lots of trash in and around the property, and the pool needs cleaned and the plants surrounding it replaced. For the price you pay they seriously need to update their rooms. The small store in the lobby is overpriced and they do not offer complimentary breakfast or forgotten supplies.

The property looked amazing in the photos online. Given the time of year that I stayed it was still pretty. My issues were that there were buckets throughout the building to collect water leaking from the roof/ the above floor. The complimentary breakfast was extremely disappointing. Cereal,bagels or toast and coffee or juice. They had warmer trays out like there should have been warm foods but sadly they were empty because no one put any food in them.

This is a fairly old facility, but generally well-kept. The long, dimly lit hallways with dark, ornamental oak door frames lent an air of American Horror Movie and The Shining. Still, the room was comfortable and clean (though the carpets were dark and I wasn't too comfortable walking on them with bare feet.) I was also surprised they didn't have an alarm clock in the room. Finally, the breakfast situation was pretty sparce (juice machine broken, no creamer for the coffee.) But for the price, I'd do it again.
