“Grapevine Cottage is a genuine mountain cottage, not a spec builder's 2020 reproduction. It is cozy and well furnished. The owner has done an incredible job of adding modern conveniences such as Jacuzzi bathtub, outdoor hot tub, dishwasher, microwave, etc. without detracting from the cozy cottage ambience. The weather was terrible, so we spent a lot of time in front of the fireplace watching TV, playing board games, or reading. It was very relaxing and peaceful. There were starter supplies……

“We enjoyed the hot tub and the cabin overall. Would stay again. Could have used a starter roll of paper towels, it other than that had everything we needed. Very clean! ”

“Met some family in blowing rock to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. Went on some awesome hikes with the dogs, had some fabulous lunches and dinner at Gideons ridge the final night. We hosted dinner one night and found the house is stocked well enough except for some additional wine glasses and some serving platters. But we made do. Home is tucked in a commercial Setting but very quiet and the house is lovely. Easy walk into town from the back side. ”

“Perfect little place to stay for a weekend trip. Had everything you could need in all the rooms and bathrooms. Side note we noticed the fans are synced to each other, the one in the main bathroom and the living room is synced together and the other two bedrooms are synced together. No complaints at all. Definitely a place we will stay again. ”

“Location was great! Parking was tight for 2 vehicles. House was clean. More wash cloths was needed. NO water pressure. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 1 child. We had a great time!”

“Property was easy to find and cute. Host was easy to communicate with. It is 2 story, which was detailed. Downstairs, the only TV and sitting area is in daybed room off kitchen. We spent a lot of time at dining table as family since that was only area downstairs to sit together while cooking and such.Please note, living room is upstairs with TV.House was clean and had all we needed. The only negative was island in kitchen. It was wooden and lots of food buildup in cracks.Bathrooms, beds all……

“Our family with two young kids had a great time here. The place was clean, kitchen was well equipped for at-home meals, the rooms and beds were cozy, the hot tub and grill were well-maintained and worked well for us. We connected our own devices to the screens when necessary for shows, though cable was available. Easy access to Blowing Rock or Boone. It was the hottest week of the year so far, but in this area it was 10-15 degrees cooler. I biked down the mountain to the parkway every day for a……

“tried to walk to App Ski mountain on a dangerous curvy, two lane road with no path, and cars speeding by. It is next to the ski slopes if you go across someone elses property up a cliff and through woods across the street. Also, very low water pressure for showers. Very clean and comfortable. Good furnishings. Creaky beds. small driveway was a hill and very difficult to navigate and dangerous at the end (dont fall off the cliff) . cannot fit more than two cars safely. ”
