Stylish retreat with two houses in South Blue Hill, Maine near the famous Blue Hill Falls Bridge. Large yard, guest house, plenty of parking, wonderful patio for entertaining and relaxing. Under an hour to Bar Harbor and breathtaking ACADIA National Park, under 10 minutes to gorgeous downtown Blue Hill, 20 minutes to the shopping district in Ellsworth, and 10 minutes to beautiful Brooklin, the "Wooden Boat Building capital of the World". This is an absolutely wonderful part of the Maine Coast, with FRESH AIR and CLEAN OCEAN and lots of great places to explore: Hiking trails, beaches, art galleries, farmers markets, antique shopping, incredible food and restaurants, live music events, car shows, charming libraries, birding, fishing, the Blue Hill Fairgrounds (made famous by local author E.B. White in Charlotte's Web. His favorite lunch spot was THE FISH NET in downtown Blue Hill. Don't miss it!). There is even a flourishing steel drum scene here, with a concert every Monday night, by the bay! Its 55 minutes to Bangor Airport if you have people flying in and out, and Bar Harbor Airport is about 40 minutes away. Portland International Jetport is 2h 45m away. This is a great little getaway for two, but can also accommodate 8 or 9. The yard is approximately an acre, so there is plenty of room for events and parties, croquet, badminton, soccer, frisbee, etc... SONY Bravia TV available, or can be taken away for those who want to get away from screens for a bit! Dogs are welcome, and we have two nice dog beds on site. Both the main house and the guest house have kitchens, the main house has a full kitchen with an island, and many a great family meal have been prepared here. Its a great place for cooking and baking and relaxing, and there is an incredible culinary scene here as well, for those who prefer to dine out!

This is a wonderful central location in a beautiful part of the US, the Maine Coast. Its great for day trips in any direction, or just staying put with your loved ones...
