Sunrise Ridge is an immaculate two bedroom, 2 bath log cabin with seasonal Mountain View. First time in rental program and proudly with Buckhorn Cabin Rentals at Lake Buckhorn, between Ellijay and Blue Ridge, Ga.

NOTE: (We do not photoshop our photos. What you see is exactly as the cabin is!)

So why choose Sunrise Ridge?

First off, you are booking with Buckhorn Cabin Rentals. BCR owners, Jim and Carolyn, live within walking distance of all BCR rentals and each one gets personal attention. With BCR you will not be charged additional administrative fees, booking fees or guest service fees.

Our policy is knowing our guests, not treating our guests as a credit card number, but as a guest that should be treated the same way we would like to be treated.

The property manager, Jim, will contact you to provide you with all the info your need to locate and access your cabin.

And, Jim is only two minutes away, 24/7 to answer any questions or address any problem.

Then #2, what you see is what you get. NO, trick lenses. No "Photoshopping" !
We are praised by guests saying that they are getting exactly what they saw online, or even surprised that in real life what they are getting is even better!!

Sunrise Ridge has very comfy queen beds, smart HDTV’s, DVD player, games and books. Very well equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and all anyone needs to prepare a nice family meal, but who wants to cook when you could be out exploring and enjoying our North Georgia Mountains?!! Seniors will Love the quiet relaxing atmosphere !!

Sunrise is dog friendly with limits and paid pet fee, be sure to check the appropriate box when booking if bringing your fur baby (check with manager). One medium dog 30/50 pounds. Service dogs always welcome but advice management !!

No hot tub, so you are not paying for one you may not use. Upper and lower decks for relaxing and nice Mountain View. Seasonal and Unique portable propane fire pit for lower deck!! Also you will find a propane 4 burner grill for your steaks, hot dogs and burgers!

Have breakfast on the deck/porch or just your morning coffee and enjoy our sunrises. Entertain or just relax with a glass of our local wine in the evening or on our well lighted lower deck. Bring the bottle, some cheese and crackers, you will not want to leave. Lol!!

All paved roads except short driveway. No need for 4x4. 15 minutes to either Blue Ridge or Ellijay. Convenient to shopping, sight seeing, Apple Festival, dining and adventure activities!

You will want to return to Sunrise Ridge often to soak up our quiet and beautiful mountains.

Great mountain get away

Everything was perfect. The cabin was very clean, well furnished and decorated very nicely. The hosts ensured that we wanted for nothing. The beds were very comfy and the fireplace was amazing. Great Thanksgiving stay

The cabin is located in the beautiful mountains. Location is great to visit Blue Ridge and Ellijay downtown. The cabin itself was clean and cozy. The pup loved the walks we took and being out on the deck. The beds were comfortable and having a fireplace was amazing.

Beautiful cabin in the Georgia mountains

Beautiful cabin in Ellijay, GA just a short drive to Blue Ridge, GA. Very clean and cozy. You can’t beat the serenity of the location. Check-in/Checkout was a breeze. We can’t wait to go back soon!

Great Escape

We had a great time at the cabin. The cabin was very clean. The pictures online were just as advertised. It’s a very peaceful and beautiful place. The host was great. They checked on us when we arrived. When we had a question, they answered it immediately. Our family would definitely like to stay at this cabin again.

Great Cabin

Great little cabin. 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, very clean, and an overall gem. We will definitely be back to this property. Very close to Elijay and East Elijay. Quite neighborhood and tucked away from others.

Secluded and quiet

Enjoyed the beautiful and clean cabin. The deco and furniture was perfect! My husband and I enjoyed the recliner chairs. The host was very nice. The road leading to the property isn't bad at all. My only minor complaint is, I am not a fan of the overgrowth of the trees and shrubbery. We will return to this area, so peaceful.

Quick New Years Re-Charge Getaway

After battling a two year illness and not having anytime away other than for medical appointments, we decided to take a last minute trip to Ellijay for New Years. A dear friend told me about this amazing place as I had never even heard of it. We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived to the cleanest, most pristine cabin tucked away in the perfect location. The friendly communication with the owner prior to arrival and when needed was superb. True southern hospitality. The cabin couldn’t have been more perfect for our family of three. I don’t think that I have ever seen a place so spotless in all my life. Kudos to the the cleaning crew because they are truly incredible. There is not one single thing that hasn’t been thought of in this home away from home. My daughter was so impressed by the s’mores sticks😊. The cabin is so beautifully decorated. It honestly looked like something out of a magazine. We could not have loved the cabin or our visit anymore. We are already planning when we can go back as we didn’t want to leave. We thank you so much for everything.

Breathtaking Color!

First time experience in the mountains of Georgia, and literally on top of the mountain in the middle of fall colored woods! Such peace and beauty is not found every day. The cabin was exactly what I hoped it would be. And Jim and Carolyn were wonderful host. We hope to make it back some day.

Beautiful Anniversary!

We so enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous cabin! Beautifully clean and nicely appointed!...from the furniture and linens to the beautifully stocked kitchen, every detail has been considered. The cabin is in a good location, easy to get to Ellijay, Blue Ridge and lots of waterfalls! Paved road too! Enjoyed lots of porch time and cooked steaks on the grill for our anniversary dinner! Just wish it had a mountain view!....Other than that, perfection!

A return to the mtns.

We lived in this area for many yrs. We wanted to come back, when we found a “weeks” time. We decided, now’s the time. It was such an amazing trip to get back to the old “stomping grounds”. Our cabin was perfect. It was clean, decorated so sweetly. Stocked with every kitchen tool you could imagine. And so peaceful. Coming from a bigger city, that’s what we remembered most, was the peacefulness of the mtns. The cicadas to lull you to sleep, at night. Tons of things to do. You can shop til you drop at all the antique stores. Go canoeing on the river, plus anything you can imagine. Or, you can just sit on the porch, in one of the 4 rockers and rock your vacation away. Quiet getaway

This was a really nice, secluded, exceptionally well kept cabin. Everything we needed was there, grill for our steaks, front porch with fan to read our books, and nice area to walk (when we weren't in Ellijah or the state park). Highly recommended.

Amazing Cabin

What an absolutely perfect cabin for our little getaway in the mountains. The cabin was decorated so tastefully in this country bear charm. The decor throughout was just perfect for our escape to the mountains. The furniture was very comfortable as were the beds. Everything that you could possibly want or need was provided. There really wasn't anything that I could think of that I wished this cabin would've had. We were definitely sad to see the vacation end but we will definitely be back.
