Words can’t describe how special this property really is. The low country architecture feeds seamlessly into the marsh and riverfront view. The accommodations are simply first-class, with all of the high-end amenities and decor one would expect, plus so much more! Want to fish? Kayak!? Rock on the porch? Host guests for dinner? Our family had a wonderful time for our annual family reunion. The hosts were fantastic and easy to communicate with. Whether lounging around the house, doing yoga on the dock, or swimming in the bay, this home provided a great space for our family to get together and make lifelong memories.

We LOVED your home! What a spectacular location, what a fabulous estate and so fully equipped with everything you could think of. The girls were in heaven. The 1st floor level was a perfect spot for the girls to practice and also a great place to host some of our outdoor parties. The backyard was super for our obstacle courses and activities. The dock was so pleasant with such a wonderful breeze and a great place to star gaze at night. Your support in answering any questions was wonderful as well. We all said how this was the best camp the girls have ever experienced, in large part to your estate and its location! The property was so private and vast that it allowed our girls to truly relax, have fun, play music/dance and compete in our annual camp. As a musical performance group with 20 girls and moms in attendance, we couldn't have wished for anything better. The second group was equally thrilled. The location of your estate was perfect as well. We were able to have excursions to Beufort, Bluffton, and Hilton Head. We went shrimping, boating, crabbing, biking, and even road a horse drawn carriage. The afternoon at the beach was also fabulous. We utilized your recommended caterer for a BBQ and Seafood boil, and several of your restaurant recommendation. The view from the large, covered porch was spectacular. Wonderful to sit out on the rockers in the morning with our coffees, family members joining us as they awoke. Young adults had a wonderful time hanging at the dock and swimming in the river. Lots of hang out space inside with a huge kitchen and island for preparing meals and serving buffet style. Multiple refrigerators for multi-families beverages. Had some great ping-pong tournaments in the game room. Layed out in the front yard watching the amazing starry nights. Only complaint - bed layout. So much square footage for one bedroom suite that only had a double bed in it. 12 of the 28 sleeping spots is in a double bunk room with trundles. Just keep in mind who's going into which bed and not just consider that it sleeps 28.

We stayed at legacy lookout for our daughter’s wedding. It was such a memorable time! We cooked, kayaked, fished, and enjoyed each others company. The house is so grand and roomy!! There was plenty of space for the 15 of us. It’s absolutely beautiful and comfortable too.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful and very clean. The views from the dock in the back are breathtaking, and we loved the wraparound back porch with the rocking chairs. A very relaxing experience and 30 minutes from the beach. We would definitely consider coming back here again! Property management great to work with if you need anything. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Legacy Lookout for a long weekend with our extended family. I cannot begin to express how incredible this luxury waterfront estate truly is. From the moment you arrive, you enjoy views of the low country nature and back waters. It feels like your own private oasis, yet it's conveniently close to downtown Beaufort, Bluffton, and Hilton Head Island. One of the highlights of the estate is the massive private deep-water boat dock where you can enjoy views of dolphins, go fishing, or go crabbing! We managed to catch some crab while we were there (they were promptly returned to their homes). The dock house perched above offers even more stunning views and a perfect spot to relax. Lastly, I must mention the exceptional care and maintenance of the property. Legacy Lookout is a true gem in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. I can't wait to return and create even more wonderful and long-lasting memories at this exceptional estate. One important note: Turning right into the property from 170 comes up quickly when you're driving. Make sure you slow down early and no one is behind you so you can make the turn safely. You may want to pull off the road first and then turn. Enjoy your stay!

Our family gathering of ~17 with varying ages from old to young enjoyed coming together at this fabulous home in a beautiful setting. The home has all the accommodations needed for a large group and the staff immediately responded to any needs or questions. The property itself enveloped us in nature and everyone enjoyed sitting quietly in rocking chairs or paddling in kayaks. Excellent and highly recommended.

We absolutely loved this South Carolina Low Country home. The views were gorgeous and home is 5 stars. Stand up paddle boards, sea kayaks, and boat house were our favorite. We had 10 adults in our family and were well spread out with plenty of room. Matt the maintenance guy took care of a couple minor issues promptly (arriving by boat). The property view of the river/ Port Royal Sound gave us the best photos. Also loved the main kitchen and wrap around outdoor porch.

The house is gorgeous. We had 15 people - 7 adults & 8 teens/kids. We did have a couple of issues with the house (an AC unit and a water leak) during our stay (that were outside the owners' control) and they worked very hard to address them and were communicative and available at all hours. The property is absolutely gorgeous and the amenities top notch. Our group LOVED fishing from the pier daily and used the kayaks and paddle boards a lot. The kitchen is gorgeous and well appointed. The owners provided great recommendations for shopping, restaurants, things to do, etc. Overall, excellent experience!

We will definitely book this property for our team’s next event. It felt like working in paradise. We hosted our company’s annual Sales Team meeting on this property, and we enjoyed every second of it. No complaints. The property has room for everyone to work comfortably and privacy if needed. What a fantastic property! Perfectly tucked away in your own private waterfront oasis. We spent most nights watching the sunsets from the boathouse (HOW COOL IS THE BOATHOUSE??). The house is a perfect getaway from the daily hustle and bustle. We've already booked our next two stays :)

My family and friends had the most amazing time at this beautiful waterfront estate. From the adventures we had on the kayaks and paddle boards, to fishing off the gigantic dock while seeing all sorts of marine life. Many of our family and friends enjoyed lots of time relaxing on the massive sized porches while soaking in the magazine like views! There was even a game room that was perfect for the children/teens and let's be honest many of the adults enjoyed this amenity as well! We have even recommended this estate to some of our friends who are getting married. This would be an awesome place to getting married or host an event! We are all still talking about how great of a time we had and already planning our next stay with the hosts!

Better than expected! I wanted my leadership team to have a place to relax and enjoy getting to know each other face-to-face post Covid and this property fit the bill it had plenty of space spread out over 9000+ square feet so no one felt on top of each other. Entertaining was easy in the large kitchen and we even got to enjoy the boathouse. I had a minor issue with my own stupidity and the property manager came right away to assist. Great property would definitely rent again!
