“The property appears to have been recently remodeled. Decent rooms. Comfortable beds. Maybe a bit too soft for my taste. The breakfast was on par or better than other hotels at the same price point. I didn't not use the restaurant or pool facilities. Blackout curtains but there was some truck noise from the highway in front of the hotel. If you want a quieter room, request one on the back side of the property. If I need to travel to Pierre again, I would stay at this property.”

“The drive here was really pretty. The lady at the was working the bar and desk was nice. My room is really cozy as well. I like the privacy too, feels nice to be out in nature. Also affordable 👌 ”

“We had a wonderful family reunion and found the property to meet our needs and to be exactly as pictured and described. We appreciated the privacy and the views as well as being close to Pierre and Ft Pierre to visit the state capital and see places from when our family lived there. We spent Sunday on the water on a rented pontoon boat from Fun Time Rentals and had a blast. The hosts were very responsive before during and after our extended weekend. We even saw some wildlife running around……

“Came to Pierre from Yankton SD to celebrate my oldest son's birthday. We were able to cook and have the family together in a very nice setting. Location is great for getting whatever you need while you are there. If you are looking for perfection, it's not for you (it's not a brand new house). But it was great for us, very comfortable and enjoyable. And the host couldn't have been nicer. I suggest calling him if you reserve it, some kind of breakdown between him and the VRBO site.”

“Overall, our stay was great. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. The outdoor space was lovely. We especially enjoyed all of the bird watching with all of the feeders and natural habitats (one member of our party even saw one of her "life birds" so that made even more special). ”
