Great location, tired property

Stayed 2 nights, that was enough. Love looking right out at Salmon Creek,ducks, geese, herons and egrets all enjoy the slow moving water. But the house is tired and in need of work. In the bathroom the area between the tub and the synthetic wall panels is black with mold. The huge furniture has lost the padding and is not comfortable. The gas fireplace did not turn on, but the gas wall heater did a good job of keeping the place warm.

Great getaway.

Amazing little cottage on the water. Peaceful home, birds and dear all over and walking distance to the beach. We loved that the house overlooked a river. Amazing to sit outside and watch all the birds and deer go on about their day. Felt very tranquil for us. Home was perfect for us, clean and cozy.

Great for couples

Cute little place on the water at Salmon Creek just a short walk to the ocean. Lots of birds to watch from the big deck. Perfect for a couple.

The best part of the stay was being on the creek and enjoying the wildlife. But the house was not was advertised. The best was too small, there is no oven, the cc couches were full of soft hair

GREAT view!

We stayed there for 6 nights. The view from the house is amazing. The house has everything! The key was a little tricky and outside window could be cleaned but other than that we really enjoyed staying this house! We would love to come back again.

Perfect couple getaway with dog

Adorable cabin right on the creek. It had all the necessities, enough kitchen stuff to cook a bit there, and plenty of blankets and space heaters to stay cozy on cold evenings. During the day, it's a close walk to a state beach (not dog friendly) or short drive to other beaches, hiking, and little towns like Valley Ford and Bodega Bay. Cabin was clean and tidy with easy check in/out via text. Overall a great stay!

March getaway

This is our third or fourth visit and we love it here. Its beautiful and a great place to recoup and take it easy. Two teeny weeny things: 1) you might want to put an ant trap near the sink; 2) Don't know how I feel about the eco-pods. I really appreciate that they are earth friendly but they're also kind of weird. Anyways, great place. We will definitely return.

Can’t beat the location

Beautiful spot right on the creek that definitely lives up to its photographs in the listing. Really the only trouble we had was with the furnishings; other reviews mention how comfy the couch was, but it was really soft and broken down for us. It was so uncomfortable that we went into Santa Rosa to buy a chair for me. The dining chairs are super rickety also. And the mattress was uncomfortable for both of us. But honestly, in better weather, we would mostly be spending time on the deck or on day trips anyway. It was storming a lot of the time we were there in January and it was a really cozy spot to watch the rain. The location makes up for all that, so I would still definitely recommend it.

Little shack near the creek

This little place does not look like much from the outside, but when you open the door you enter a sweet little one bedroom. The overhead sky lights and decor make it warm and welcoming. The internet is spotty, so if you plan on jumping on your computer or watching a lot of TV you may need a back up. Lovely place by the water. We got to watch kayakers, water fowl, fish, otters and more from the balcony as we sipped our coffee or enjoyed a glass of wine. The area is very peacefull.

Very clean , great location

This was nice. Right on Salmon creek. Sit on the deck watching all the waterfowl etc. Close to town of Bodega, walking trails and beaches close by. Perfect you 2 and your pet.

Cozy Getaway

This was hidden gem, cozy sofas, full equipped kitchen, loved the on demand hot water and super warm bed. Next time we will stay for at least three nights. So close to shops and restaurants but far enough to be a quiet cozy getaway. We enjoyed the beach at the end of the road and hiked up at the Sonoma headlands and what a gorgeous coastline. We will come here again.

Amazing little cabin on Salmon Creek

Yes, it's small but it opens out onto a lovely deck which is right on the creek and uninterrupted views of the most beautiful wetlands with the ocean in the distance....Magical and totally relaxing! Thank you to our hosts!

Perfect getaway spot

Our stay was lovely. There was an excellent view of the natural habitat of the local flora and fauna. We watched birds eat and fly, then deer frolic in the mist. Best sleep, plenty of quiet.

Beautiful and Funky

Great location, comfortable, needs some maintenance. I was there to write and for that purpose it was perfect. The creek is lovely, the sunsets are amazing. Great access to the beach. Lovely porch and comfortable but funky interior. If you don’t expect everything to work and you’re OK figuring things out yourself and making do you will be more than fine. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Bird watcher's bliss

This is our second time at Mar Tiny. It's very peaceful there! The creek was much lower than the last time we stayed 3 years ago. The egrets, herons, red-winged blackbirds, and even pelicans were plentiful. The cottage has very tasteful decorating. Pillows and bed linens had been refreshed since our last stay. It's a short walk to a lovely big beach.

Getaway time

Lovely cottage, light and airy inside, tad problems with starting the stove and TV. Directions can be found, would be nice to have all home information together in one binder/folder. Lovely view, quiet morning and night, loved the decorations, only sad part Vrbo seems to have extra charges.

Absolutely as advertised - simply great

Very high marks for cleanliness & accuracy of the posting. The site is wonderful. The patio hangs over Salmon Creek, with water fowl swimming by all day. Low light too, so the stars were very visible. You can walk to the beach in 5 minutes. Big refrigerator & freezer. Gas stove, but no oven. There was a toaster oven. Comfortable bed. Very nice for 2. Three might have been too many. Easy access & lots of room for one car. We arrived thinking there would be no wifi or internet, and at times it was so weak as to be useless, but we did have connection (slow) most of the time, and were able to stream Netflix. I had trouble connecting with the rental agency by phone, but their text worked fine. The 4 pm check-in is firm. The cleaning staff had their car parked in the parking site until 3:45. We had a (for Bodega Bay) a very hot day, but the afternoon breeze cooled the place down very quickly. A/C does not appear to be needed. There is no "operational" info, so you have to figure out how things work. A bit of a hassle. I think the stove has to be lite the old-fashioned way - with matches, but w/o the info, I wasn't sure. We did not use the stove, or the gas grill on the patio. The grill's gas tank was heavily rusted. Heat came on automatically in the morning. I guess that's how the thermometer was set. We REALLY liked this place!! Coastal walks at Wrights Beach & Shell Beach are fantastic. So are the hikes at the Bodega Bay headlands.

Relaxing Few Days

RUN FAR AWAY FROM VACASA RENTALS!!

This was such an overwhelming nightmare, I've waited three months to post - hoping their might be some resolution, but no. The majority of the home was dirty when we arrived - I have the photographic evidence! And when we had ants in the morning and had to move all our food off the counters we were told, "Oh, well that's to be expected this time of year." WTAF?!?! They were everywhere! They were rude and insensitive and uncooperative and we left after the second night. I am still fighting with them over a refund! Run, don't walk, away from these people!!
