“The staff at Valdelana were fantastic. In October, restaurants are not always open but the hotel staff were informative. There are not dependable taxis in Elciego so it is great if you have a car. The cellar tour and tasting is not to be missed. I will stay here again and again.”

“Beautiful property close to Haro and many wineries. Great staff service and breakfast. It has a very nice restaurant with a large beautiful outdoor terrace to relax during the day or evening. ”

“The included breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful. One of the superior rooms we paid for was not very superior and in the attic with no windows at all. We changed down to a regular room, which was lovely, but couldn't get a refund because we prepaid. It was a beautiful historic place and the small plunge pool was refreshing. Parking was close by and very close to Haro and the wine tasting and trails to bike and walk. great base for Rioja wine visit”

“My sister and I arrived late and had not yet had dinner. The gentleman at reception called a restaurant down the street and arranged dinner for us. We were impressed before we even got to our room which was clean, spacious, and had a gorgeous view of the plaza. Additionally, the location was in waking distance to the bodegas. We had a wonderful experience that exceed our expectations. We would absolutely 100% return. ”
