“Great property for a quiet getaway”

“This place has the perfect name cause it is so cozy! Such a cute cottage ! My daughter loved the hammock , I love the porch swing ! Location is great! The owner has always been quick to reply if I message. Everything we could possibly need was already here. My 10 year old son is tearing up cause he’s sad to leave . We will for sure be back! ”

“Highly recommend. The cottage was so well dec orated and had everything we needed for our long weekend. Beautiful inside and out - great gathering areas by pool and pool house. Host was easily available and made sure that we had everything we needed. Close to Abita Springs downtown with quaint restaurants, farmers market and grocery/deli. Be sure to eat at Abita Cafe! ”

“This property is BEAUTIFUL and is, by far, the best rental I've ever stayed in. The photos truly doesn't do it justice. Beds were super comfortable, especially the king. The house comes equipped with everything you need. Communication with hosts was great and they graciously gave me an extra 15 minutes on check out, due to weather. 10/10 highly recommend!! ”

“I stayed here for the weekend while attending The Superbowl and the commute was a little distance away but wasn’t too far. The host was very communicative & considerate during my stay. She provided snacks & water and left courteous notes. I would recommend others to stay!!”

“We wanted to get away from the city and into nature and boy did we! Words can’t describe how much fun we had exploring the 200 acres of forest! Lakes, ponds, paths, and sooooo many deer! Our son woke up early every morning to feed the deer - when we left, he knew their names….the owners were beyond accommodating! ”

“From the moment we set foot on Ms. Bobbie’s beautiful property, we felt like we were home. The peace and tranquility were unmatched, and her precious house was the perfect place for us to unplug and enjoy some great family time. The pond is fantastic for fishing and you are a comfortable walk to the beautiful Tchefuncte River.While there, we were easily able to enjoy Global Wildlife and the Bogue Falaya Park with our grandson and also fun boutique shopping and great food and cafes in……

“The "Isle of View" was the perfect location for my friends and I. Situated a little more than an hour from Baton Rouge and New Orleans, we were able to visit both cities and retreat to the quiet castle at night. The resident Hemingway cat that oversaw the property was very affectionate. Bring cat treats! We will stay again. Thank you Marcus.”

“Very thoughtful layout. Quiet area though close to railroad tracks. Staff easily contacted and pleasant to deal with. Air conditioner in one end of home left other side stuffy. No hot water first night and we were moved to another unit. ”

“Rhonda’s place is simply charming. From the moment you pull up to the house you’re transported to a magical experience. Coming from the desert in Arizona, we loved sitting outside either in the front or the back - able to enjoy the sunrise or sunset. ”

“The house was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids( ages 7,6,3 and 1). The kids loved exploring, picking oranges and lemons and gong down to the water. We plan to be back!”
