Hotel front desk staff at checking was very friendly. Unfortunately, we waited at the airport for an hour and a half for shuttle that never arrived because information of transportation was not updated. The staff was unmoved about the inconveniences and blamed Expedia for the error. We weren’t even offered a comp for this issue of having to pay an uber to get to the hotel and no comp for being VIP package customers. Concierge was excellent with treatment of my family. Rooms were as described and pictures on website, no AC, but climate makes up for it. Room service was excellent that night, food was delicious and very local cuisine. Unfortunately, breakfast buffet staff were not as welcoming or centered on client experience, felt like a highway roadside hotel’s continental breakfast. Hotel offered no orientation about places to see or reputable tour companies. No safety or location layout orientation either. Unfortunately, if we returned to Bogota we would seek accommodation elsewhere.
