Everyone we met from checking in to our departure was friendly and helpful, even using a translation device to chat about the fascinating history of Veliko Tarnovo. The location is in the Old Town and in a good location for sightseeing, cafés and restaurants. Our room had a lovely view over the atmospheric orange -tiled rooftops to green hills beyond. The room was spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. We didn't use the kitchenette……
