“This is an adequate hotel but its on the wrong side of town. The walk to the riverside is down a busy road with occasion dogs roaming about. You can get a grab which is probably the best option . Probably not worth the money. Breakfast is poor ”

“Location was excellent and it was close to bus companies/ departure places of buses. Room was big and clean. Balcony is always a great thing. Excellent hotel when compare quality and price.”

“The staff at The Columns are extremely nice and helpful. The included breakfast has many nice options and is well-prepared. We had both a double room on the first floor and a balcony room on second floor in our party, and we much preferred the first floor. It’s more spacious, better laid out, and has high ceilings. The second floor is not great for tall people because there are so many low ceilings, and the rooms feel cramped. ”

“L’établissement est relativement refait à neuf, malgré quelques amélioration à suggérer, notamment concernant le double vitrage, (on entendait des bruits de chauve-souris assez forts) ainsi que les voisins bruyants de la chambre qui parlaient très fort dans le couloir. L’emplacement de l’hôtel permet de se déplacer dans la ville à pied et de se rendre dans les principaux sites d’intérêt, pas mal d’options, de restauration à distance de marche, rien à dire sur la propreté de l’hôtel, un petit……

“This hotel had all the basic stuff you needed, and was clean, but something was just off about it. I am not sure about the atmosphere and perhaps because my sliding door wouldn't close all the way and I needed a staff to close it EVERY TIME but it was just OK. There was a big family party on the second night we stayed so we did have to listen to people howling (singing)until quite late. It was a but secluded and hard to get to at night time with all the surrounding ditches. ”

“Staff was excellent my room was really hot and they helped me to cool it for the night and a new room in the morning. Excellent bar and food prices too. ”

“Nous avons reservé pour le nouvel an...trois nuits. Malheureusement une erreur dans les plannings de réservation a ete faite par la direction. Cest pour ca pas 5 etoiles. Nous avons du sejourné dans un endroit endroit pour la nuit du 31. Mais ce ne sera pas 1 etoile mais bien 4 que nous lettons car une erreur est humaine...mais lequipe a tout fait pour nous satisfaire et nous avons ete satisfait du service de la jeune femme apres ce probleme. Personne très professionnelle, et nous avons ete……

“Room initially given to us hadn’t been cleaned. Corrected the mistake quickly. Rooms are huge, clean. Gym was just on the first floor area and no aircon so limited how long you could exercise. Breakfast was ok but fairly limited unless you’re ok with noodles and fried rice for breakfast. Location was quiet and walkable to restaurants.”
