“We were unable to access the accommodation: upon arrival, we found ourselves in front of code boxes, no response to calls to the owner between 4 PM and 5 PM, no calls from him despite the message left on voicemail in English, no email indicating the codes. In short, unable to leave 2 children in the blazing sun, we were forced to book another hotel and lose the money for this rental. The fault does not rest entirely with the owner; Epedia also shares some responsibility, as the emails received……

“Lovely stay at the end of 8 weeks of travel. Easy walk to the lake and parks, 15 minutes to the old town, minimarket 100m away, on the local bus route, modern laundry in basement, new lift and room appliances. All in all a very pleasant stay in a quiet street. Special thanks to the staff for their assistance, friendliness and useful tips on eateries etc.”

“Very happy with the accommodation. Clean, comfortable bed, small balcony, equipped with everything one may need during a short stay. Parking in the garage had to be arrange paid separately. So, not included in the price of the accommodation. All in all, it is a very recommendable place.”

“Very clean and close to the train station, tram line and buses. Can reach Zurich airport in 1hr on a direct train. Supermarkets in close walking distance within a shopping centre that has a variety of clothes, shoes and groceries. A few restaurant options too. ”

“Not a hotel but a self contained apartment, with its own kitchen, lounge and bedroom. The apartment was perfectly located in the centre of Zürich, a 10 minute walk from the Central Station, and in the heart of shops, restaurants and bars. The unit is on the first floor but the building has a lift, which is great for heavy bags etc. everything was clean and new, and the kitchen was perfect for making meals to avoid the high dining prices in Zurich. I would stay here again. ”

“A bright, clean and spacious apartment in a lovely location across the road from the lake. The kitchen had everything needed for self catering when we wanted a rest from eating out (there are many options for dining out in the locality, starting in the square at the front door and beyond). I couldn’t fault it. There are stairs leading up to the apartment and lots of internal stairs, which would not suit everyone. For my daughter and I, it was a perfect base for a delightful week in Zurich. ”

“We were able to walk to Frau Münster to see Chagall's stained glass windows (& to listen to an orchestra rehearsal); to Bahnhoffstr to replace my watch battery; & to Sprüngli for a mid-afternoon snack. Walking to the Hbf was easy in the AM! ”
