“This was our first time experiencing a tiny home. It was super cute, and clean, and had every amenity possible, more than a hotel stay. Notes were provided everywhere that covered every question I had. We literally only used our one night stay to sleep in the home, but next time we may plan more ahead and bring our dinner to grill and sit outside on the porch and enjoy the outdoors. Amazing communication.”

“Craig and Judy are wonderful hosts and we could not have had a more delightful stay! Every amenity you could possibly need has been provided along with a bowl of snacks on the table. The cabin was just what we were hoping for with wonderful views that make you just want to sit and relax for hours. We enjoyed hiking around the property and using the shooting range. We hope to return in the future. Thanks Craig and Judy!!!!!”

“Beautiful property with comfortable beds and incredible views. Check-in was a breeze and owner worked with us on the check-in time. We loved the lack of WiFi, felt more like an escape (although cell service was strong if we needed anything). No dishwasher, which some might find off-putting, but not a problem for us. We thought it the perfect little cabin for a Colorado summer stay.”

“This house was perfect for last getaway of the summer. The property had plenty of space for our two family’s and everything you need to cook. The wrap around deck was beautiful as were the views. We enjoyed fishing, were able to walk to disc golf course and enjoyed the town. The outside seating areas were enjoyed by all and can’t recommend this place enough. ”

“Thank you to the property owners for having this property available. I can see from the listing pictures that the owners have changed some furniture (chairs, bed frame) but we loved the layout of the cabin, the furniture is sturdy, taken care of and in good condition. They were readily available-met us when we parked at the lodge to escort us to our cabin; brought us extra towels, TP, soap when asked. We definitely recommend staying at this property, and would be happy to stay in any other……

“The cabin is lovely and relaxing. It is isolated enough to enjoy the solitude of the land around you without being far from a neighbor. The location was perfect for us who had family staying at different venues from a hotel in Trinidad to camper camping at the creek a couple of miles up the road. Of the different cabin type places to stay - this one is exceptionally lovely. We would definitely stay again.”

“The views were breathtaking, and the place was so comfortable for a large family. We have stayed many times in Cuchara and have never had such a beautiful home and view.”

“good place to just get away from all the noise of everyday life and watch a great sunset. do be aware though there are some cactuses around the property so if you have an animal bring some boots and tweezers for them”
