“Cabin is very cute but ultimately for only 2 people. I requested a VRBO for 4 people in my search engine and this cabin populated that it could accommodate 4 people. Luckily only 3 of us traveled and the owner reached out to me (which was very nice ) so we brought our blow up mattress. The cot that was provided would not have been comfortable for my 18 year old. “Very nice place to stay its right on the river very peaceful ”

“The cabin and property were exactly what we had hoped. We wanted to get away from the city and relax and this was just the place. It's situated on a large property with no ne else in sight. The view over the valley below and of the Spanish Peaks is amazing. Even though this is a bit remote, the cabin does offer wifi and has a streaming television. The cabin is cozy and it has a great kitchen for those that enjoy cooking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we'll be returning again. ”

“Beautiful view!! Nice trails to explore the area. House was clean and snacks were there for us. We really enjoyed our stay. Loved being able to get into a warm bed!! Would definitely recommend.”

“The cabin is lovely and relaxing. It is isolated enough to enjoy the solitude of the land around you without being far from a neighbor. The location was perfect for us who had family staying at different venues from a hotel in Trinidad to camper camping at the creek a couple of miles up the road. Of the different cabin type places to stay - this one is exceptionally lovely. We would definitely stay again.”

I can see from the listing pictures that the owners have changed some furniture (chairs, bed frame) but we loved the layout of the cabin, the furniture is sturdy, taken care of and in good condition. They were readily available-met us when we parked at the lodge to escort us to our cabin; brought us extra towels, TP, soap when asked. We definitely recommend staying at this property, and would be happy to stay in any other……

“Great views of the mountains! Perfect for a couple who want to be off the grid. Things I wish I would have known ahead of time: no WiFi on property (which makes tv unusable unless you have cell service up there - we did not), no washer/dryer, no dishwasher, gas fireplace doesn’t work, and minimal indoor lighting.
